You've taught us about your world
And how you created such beautiful things
The sky and how it hangs so blue
There's clouds that fill our fields with crops
The sun which never forgets to rise each day
And the moon bringing those astray closer to you at night
The animals and plants which add colour and meaning to the natural cycle of life
I haven't forgotten the ones who think
The ones who do and the one who survive
The ones who steal and the ones who pray
The ones who sleep and the ones who wake
We are here to remind others that we are weak
And to remind ourselves that we aren't 'it'
You taught us that we must be weak
So we can learn how strong You are
And how strong You can make us
