My way.
The heart is diseased,
Lust, ego and greed.
Quench the thirst of my desires, striving to build an empire, my sustenance, YOU will make me prominent!
but....
I'm still hungry.
no matter how much I gain I still feel in need.
No matter how much I'm feeding I can't saturate the greed.
I'm feeling lost and empty,
it doesn't make sense I'm doing everything YOU want from me.
But I guess the way for satisfaction is not all about YOU. I did everything you wanted me to do, but I feel humiliated if you wanna know the truth.
......I enslaved my self to YOU.
His Way.
To paradise it leads,
For the dunya no need,
You're satisfied with little, enduring the struggle. Recognising that with every hardship there'll be ease, you're calamities will purify your sins and your patience will build up your deeds.
Ya Allah please keep me firm and steadfast, with my righteous brethren.
In you I believe and to you I submit myself and direct my grief.
I beg YOU please, forgive my sins and enter
