We got along and we connected
We shared our hopes and dreams
We discovered
That we shared a similar goal
And so we grew
Together
Baby steps

And we leaped
But we leaped a little too far
Further than we planned
And we got scared
Really scared
But
We got excited
Over the moon excited
Then we took steps back
And leaped backwards
But I feel still
