I don't normally have the strength or the courage
Engaging in everlasting struggles
The funny thing is...I actually thought I was winning,
Succeeding,
But
I have to face the truth
I am losing.
So much that -
I start to see my enemy as my friend.
I need Your Help
For every sin I make, pricks my heart
But I'm stitching, sewing, weaving
But I can't seem to stitch fast enough
There is always another one to be made.
It leaves scars,
Battle wounds from my enemy
My enemy sleeps in my bed,
He eats my own food,
And we have the same friends,
So how do I defeat an enemy that is myself?
Who am I kidding, I know the answer!
I have the solution!
But I am Afraid, Ashamed
I know I shouldn't be
But,
I have been conditioned this way
The solution is simple,
But hard to implement,
And it shouldn't be
I should have asked for Your Help from the very beginning
I should have remembered the words You said to me
But I will from now on
Because...
