So, I stopped trusting people. And I love my friends a lot. The reason behind both of these things, is the same. When I was in 11th grade, a young boy from California sent a wedding proposal for me, he wanted to get engaged with me. He was a nice boy, tall and handsome, his name was Zeus. He was intelligent. He was a student of computer science. My parents also liked him. So we got engaged. I liked him, I started taking interest in him. Obviously, an attraction is natural, and it was an engagement case. I met him once, we talked whole day about our likes and dislikes and interests, I also took part in developing a mutual understanding between us. He wasn't bad at all. But things didn't go right later, I don't know what happened, after a year he left me. He left everything, he forgot everything. I don't know why, I still don't know the reason behind it. I don't know if I ever loved him or not, but it was a bit shocking for me. It's a short summary of my first relationship. I wasn't getting over it. I cried for a few days. I felt like I was kind of incomplete may be. I was blaming myself for the breakup. But then my sisters, Cheryl and Shirley, and my friends, specially Austin and D helped me out. Oh, D is her nickname. Madame Dandelion Betty Narciso has a long name so "D" is the shortest nickname we could give. Her mother is English, her middle name expresses it. She's really sweet and she was just getting married soon after graduation, as she was engaged to her cousin, Martin. Well, anyway, they helped me with this and I learnt that life doesn't stop. People move on as time passes. It's totally fine, don't blame yourself. If it's meant to be, I will be. Take care of yourself, no matter what. Be bold enough to believe in yourself, you're enough.
I didn't try to contact him again. I missed him sometimes, but I couldn't sacrifice my self respect. And may be, I never loved him. It was just an attraction and attachment... I think. And probably, I'm right. Anyway, it's better to keep the disturbing factors away from life. These temporary relationships just create hurdles in ones career. If you ask me, these attachments in the name of relationship are useless. It's just a distraction, nothing else.
