Hey there everyone! Hope you enjoyed the story. And some of you asked some questions, I read all the questions and answered them individually. I'm posting this here because new readers won't be able to get answers directly from me. So here are some of them.
Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ1. Which thing inspired you to write this story?
Don't put salt on my wounds 💔😂.. but to be honest, it's a dream plot of mine, I always wanted to be a part of a story which had lessons of reality but with a touch of a perfect imagination. I mixed both things, it requires a lot of creativity. That's why it took 2 years for me to complete this book. And it was my dream to be a one sided lover because one sided love is always pure, so I gave the classical concept a modern touch. I put my own life experiences and emotions on the paper but with a different shade. ❤
2. Why didn't Silvestra return to Zeus when he apologized?
It's a human psychology. We can't welcome those people again who step out of our heart once.
3. The ending was so heart-breaking, why wasn't it a happy ending?
There could be more possibilities, but I loved this one, otherwise it couldn't give the lesson I wanted to deliver. And to me, the ending was adequate, it wasn't a happy ending, but a satisfactory ending.
4. Why did you choose these names for the characters of your story?
Well, I chose some of the names depending on the meanings of those names. 'Silvestra' means forest which indicates the artistic nature of Silvestra but also her wild silence. Similarly, Sebastian is somewhat derived from Greek for the meaning of accorded to respect due to Wisdom. And Austin, D, Sheriff, Minty and Aisla are all derived from the first letters of my real life friends' names. Sedrick means kind and loved, as the character is loved by two girls (and may be had more lovers, not mentioned in story, LOL) and this name's derived from one of my crush's name, LOL.
5. Who's your favorite fictional character?
It's difficult to choose one. All the Marvel Comic characters are my favourite, LOL XD.
6. Was Sedrick a negative character?
Well, a good question. I didn't do this intentionally, I didn't want to show a depraved role of Sedrick. But somehow, he wasn't crooked or two faced, he wasn't either cold hearted otherwise he would have never accepted his culpability. He just did some mistakes, like everyone does. And in this world, full of pretentions and lies, how could he believe that Silvestra truly loved him? He was right at this point, he just did one thing wrong and that was lying to Silvestra about his relationship status. And he faces guilt throughout the life as mentioned in the Bonus Chapter. And after all, it's all about fate!
7. What's essential to start writing?
Well, it depends. It depends on you, what kind of content you're writing. And if you ask about me, so I need sentiments to write, without emotions, words are not enough. I need to be in state of empathy with the character. And I imagine several scenarios first, then choose the best one. It takes time. And secondly, vocabulary should be chosen wisely. I've written my first book in a very simple American English (with some words from British English, as Silvestra is shown to be English but grew up in New York) that everyone can understand every single word, now that my next book would be a better one, I hope.
