It was about two weeks later and Riley has arranged that Maya gets a baby shower.

To her it didn't matter much if she did have one.
She of course wouldn't say no but she was very shy.
She didn't ever like it when people held a birthday party for her and this is something entirely different.
This was the world she would welcome her child in which she hadn't even thought of yet.
She has been so worried about Raven and this thing with her parents that she didn't think about the baby.
It was clearly a ice cold afternoon and Josh was getting Raven ready for a little playdate.
He has tried to be a lot there for Maya and since she did have a lot on her plate he has been helping out with Raven a lot.
Maya just went to shower and get dressed for the entire shower later.
"Looks like you guys are playing nicely," Maya said.
"Yeah we are. I just got a message from Abigail. Our offer has been excepted," Josh said.
"That's amazing," Maya said and embraced Josh.
"It is. You look absolutely gorgeous. How are you feeling?"
"Nerves. I'm not big on events. Even when someone throws something for my birthday I don't like it. It's just who I am."
"I know and I love you for that."
"I love you too. I better get going. Before your niece gets worried," Maya said.
"Drive safely," Josh said and Maya was off.
When she came to the apartment where Riley lives everyone surprised her with a lot of stuff.
Even if she wasn't stoked on it she actually liked it a lot more than she realised.
