It was later that same afternoon and Maya was sitting in her office with Raven.
As agreed she took Raven with her to work and she was loving it.
Not just was Raven close to her but she knew what is going on.
But she didn't actually know what to do about the pregnancy.
She knew that she had to tell more people, reach out tk her parents but she couldn't.
She just couldn't do it.
She was dressed as her tipical businesswomen just as every day when she heard a knock on her door.
"Come in," Maya said.
"Baby Girl."
Maya immediately recognised the voice.
She looked up finding her mom standing in front of her.
She didn't say a word.
She couldn't.
But of course what was upsetting is that Raven was not even going near her mother.
"What's the matter with her?" Katy asked.
"What about the fact that her mother left her as a eight month baby? What are you doing here Mom?" Maya asked as she picked up Raven.
"I see you guys went through with the wedding," Shawn said as he entered the office.
"We did. He has been helping me with Raven for the past four months. I'll have to ask you to leave," Maya said.
"Josh," Raven said.
"She's talking," Katy said.
"Since two months ago," Josh said.
"Welcome to the family," Shawn said.
"What are you doing here?"
"Came to see our daughters," Katy said.
"Josh can you please take them away? I have my next appointment in the next ten minutes," Maya said.
"What about..."
"My father-in-law arranged that she stays with me. In case I have to go somewhere she goes with Josh. Listen we can talk tonight."
"You have our numbers."
"I'll make sure security knows to keep them out. You okay?" Josh asked.
"Yeah I'm fine. I promise."
