It's is a late August morning. College starts in one week for everyone but not for Maya. Maya isn't going to college since she got married a month ago so she will be starting at her father-in-law's business as a businesswomen. She is very excited and even though she hasn't always been happy she is now. She has everything she'll ever need. Her little sister who turned one a few days ago, a loving husband who will do anything for her, great parents-in-law and to top that she found out she is pregnant seven weeks ago. She and Josh has decided to wait till the first sonar before telling anyone anything and that wasn't so bad. Maya didn't have any dizzyniss like her mother did when she fell pregnant with Raven and besides it just doesn't seem like a pregnancy yet. But Maya definitely have the early signs. She is starting with nausea but only for a few hours at a time. The longest she has had was three.
Maya got off from work a bit early to prepare for the dinner at the Matthews and of course she wasn't doing much about her look. She was going to get ready a bit later but she had to keep Raven busy.
Raven. Her one year baby sister who means the world to her and definitely the same to Josh. It's not like any other relationship that they have. Josh accepted Raven from day one and when Maya's parents left her with Raven he was supportive. Maya sees that Raven is sleepy and decided to put her down for a quick nap. She lays her in her crib and then quickly go and shower. She then trows on a dress and heels then she hears the door opening.

"Hey," Maya said. "Hi. I heard Dad gave you off. That's nice of him," Josh said and gave Maya a quick kiss. "Yeah it is. She went down for a nap. Can I get you some coffee?" "Yeah that will be nice," Josh said and sat down. "Listen Maya. Are you sure you okay with telling them this tonight? We can wait," Josh said and Maya gave him a cup. "You know they are anyway going to be furious tonight?" "Yeah I know. But you can't tell someone something like this without mixed feelings," Josh said and heard Raven. "I'll get her. You sit down," Josh said.
He went to get Raven and of course she was very excited to see him.
"Hello Raven," Josh said and picked her up. "There you go. Let's go to Maya."
"Look who's awake," Josh said. "Hey Sweetheart. You ready to go?" Maya asked. "Yeah let's go," Josh said.
He grabbed Raven's bag and then they went to Cory's. Cory is Josh's older brother and as time went by Maya got used to stop calling him Mr Matthews. She know calls him and Topanga on their names which for them is a little exciting.
They stop at the apartment and go in.
"Hey Family," Josh greets them as usual and everyone was there. "Welcome. What did you want to talk to us about?" Topanga asked and both sat down. "Promise you won't collapse. Neither of you," Josh said. "Why would we?" Riley asked and Maya pulled out a sonar of a baby. "I'm pregnant," Maya said.
