It was New Years Eve.
Just earlier the day.
Maya was sitting on the couch going through a few things.
She and Josh had some of their own shopping that had to be done and of course it was very much basics.
Diapers, clothes, a few essentials for Baby Boy and of course a car seat.

Maya was going through a book while Josh and Raven were coloring.
Then it hit her like thunder.
There was one thing they didn't do.
"Joshua," Maya said and Josh looked up.
"Forgot something at the stores?"
"Funny. What are we going to name the little one? We haven't even thought of it. Has it come to our minds even that we have to pick a name?" Maya asked and Josh looked at Maya.
"I guess it didn't," Josh said and Raven yawned.
"Think it's her bedtime. I'll be back in a few minutes," Josh said.
Maya quickly grabbed a book when Josh was gone and went through a few names.
She immediately saw the name Gabriel knowing its her husband's middle name.
But Maya wanted to bring it in with her child's name.
She knew it was something very strong and she knew that the real meaning of the name was special.
It means God is strength.
Which meant a lot to her that He had saved Josh when He could have decided differently.
Where would she then be?
