I think I already made a post about this, but I'm not the one who wrote it. This is going to be a chapter about what I expect life with wings to be like, but not only after wings are fully grown, while they are in the process of growing too.
Stage one: "wing bumps"
I don't know what these would actually be called but I've heard a lot of people calling them that.
This would probably be about a year after you've started growing wings.
Yes you will still be able to do almost everything you were able to do before, but go to the doctors probably, and maybe even go swimming.
It will hurt to sit on hard-backed chairs,Stage two: idk what to call this but it's stage two
At this point your wings have grown and now have some feathers, maybe a one-two foot wingspan. At this point you will still be able to go to school and stuff, but you won't be able to swim, definitely. You will also have to leave class a lot if u go to school to stretch out your wings. It's like this, imagine you were raising your hand in class for a long time, it would eventually get tired, right? It's like that with wings, too. If they're folded tightly into your back, your going to need to stretch them out at some point. Maybe 2-3 years and you will reach this stageStage three: fully developed wings
By fully developed I don't mean fully grown. At this point you will only be able to wear baggy oversized clothes, you can still go out but you will have to stretch your wings a lot.Stage four: half-grown
If you have figured out a way to still be out in public with these, I'm very impressed. You will definitely have to bind them and maybe wear a backpack so it isn't to noticeable. You will need to tell your family by now. Maybe even before. If you're still in school, I highly recommend you take online school.Stage five: fully grown
You can fly now! But with a price. Say goodbye to ever going outside around people again. I would get a place in the mountains with acres of land if I were you. If you can STILL find a way to go outside with these, well... OKAY YOURE INCREDIBLE. XD.But y'all, seriously. You need to consider the consequences. I myself have like five different plans for my life. Yeah. Five.
(Ok you don't have to read this, this is just me rambling on about random shit (well not that random) late at night)
One of them is if I have wings I will meet up with my flock and we will live together, if something happens and my flock breaks apart, I will live in Colorado and become a manga artist, another one is just be a manga artist if the whole wing thing doesn't work out, yet another one is, again only if the wing thing doesn't work out, (this one obviously isn't certain and is highly unlikely) a professional figure skater I guess is what you'd call it, and the last one I can't talk about for reasons (it's nothing dirty or drug related or anything like that) sooo yea
Okay what the hecc rei why am I talking about this- Lmao send help
Aaaand this is what happens when I write a chapter of this journal. It just doesn't turn out that well. But I hope this was helpful!
