the point of no return

this title sounds... so dark.
it's 2 am, and after doing some deep thinking (wow yes it's actually possible for rei to actually think) i decided to write this.
i honestly don't think i talk about doubt enough, because one of the most important things in really changing anything physical about yourself is that you need to be 100% certain that you want this change, and i hate to admit it, but im not, and most likely, neither are you.
are you really ready to give up everything? your family, your friends, normal life itself? i know most of you have heard this question many times, and your answer is usually yes, but, you may change your mind. it's possible. something may come to light that changes everything.
when growing wings, there is a point of no return. a point where you can never go back to normal life, unless taking extreme measures, that i won't even speak of because they're so terrible. what is that point, though? how long do you have to decide that you are 100% certain you want wings? i'd say it's up until you start seeing physical progress, around 2 years. i am just now starting to reach that point, and honestly, it's scary. i can truly see that this is working, and it isn't giving me hope and motivation, it's giving me fear. because i know, a few more months, maybe even a year, and i will never be able to swim because the swim suit will show my wings, i will have to give up skating, i will have to give up so many things that i cherish. i am not quitting growing wings, merely pausing my growth to truly think this over, make sure this is the right decision. all i'm saying is, please, make sure you truly want this...
