Peter is a beacon for trouble. As a kid, my mother would always use him as an example of what she didn't want from me. Since she and his mother were close, she was the one his mother confided in when he caused trouble. She would say he was insolent and wreckless. She was one of the biggest reasons I didn't see him a lot in our younger years.

My mother told me he would only give me headaches and problems.

I began to agree with her in college. He and Benny had always gotten themselves into trouble and I was always the one they'd seek for help. Three years ago, the trouble they got into involved teachers, classmates, and girls. Now, it involved a gang and possible killers.

"Officer Doi, we have a problem." I rubbed my temple as I explained the mess Peter Goodman had gotten himself into this time. I felt bad burdening Officer Doi with his problems, but he was a close family friend, he's the only officer I could trust. His daughter and I were childhood friends, and he was the closest person to father.

I had sensed something would go wrong once I handed the keys over to Peter. When I called him, I had intended to ask him to come back and take one of my bodyguards. As soon as he didn't pick up I knew something had happened. By the fourth call he had picked up the phone and at first, I couldn't hear anything. Then I heard his voice along with someone else's.

"Sir, I searched the perimeter, they're gone. I talked to the security department like you asked and they have footage of the kidnapping. What shall we do next?" Benard asked.

"We track them," all the family cars had a tracker installed per request of my mother. Since Peter was taken with the car our search for him would be easier. I figured the kidnappers would be stupid enough to drive the car to their hideout. Since their destination was Westlake I looked down at my watch with a scowl, knowing I'd have to reschedule my plans yet again. As I turned to look at Benny's state, commotion sounded from the hallway. I watched a small figure pass by the window and knew exactly who it was.

"What the hell happened?" Barb barged into the room with wild eyes. She looked at me awaiting an answer, instead of answering her I turned to Bernard. The large bald man nodded, reading my mind.
