- Vic's P.O.V -
What's this feeling in my stomach?
Seriously, I've been waiting to eat since last night! There is only so long a fellow soldier can wait, my time has come to eat the last- "Early bird gets the worm!" Mike shouted, snatching the last edible pancake off of my plate.
My eyes widened in shock, "You fucker, that's so not cool- mom!" I shouted, giving her a helpless look.
She sighed in annoyance, "Vic you're too old to be asking me for help with Mike!" she exclaimed, a playful glint in her eyes.
I rolled mine, slumping back onto my chair, "That was mine..." I murmured to no one in general. Not that anyone would actually take my side when it came to Mike related issues, huh. "Well I am going to school like the good boy I am, adios people!" I stood up dramatically, sashaying out of the kitchen.
"What a weirdo." Mike mumbled, loud enough for me to hear.
What a fucktard.
Today I'd decided to ask Kellin out. Well, it wasn't decided by me...but Jaime told me to do it now and get it over with, so that's what I'm doing. I'm not as nervous as I should be- could be the fact that I don't really want this, who knows?
"Ah Vic, just the guy I was looking for!" Jeremy approached me with a huge grin on his face- why was this guy always so happy? His grin only falters when dramatic things happen, it switches into a full on smirk. No real difference there.
I sighed inwardly, "Yes, Jeremy?" I batted my eyelashes at him sweetly, adding on the cutest sarcastic smile I could muster up.
His grin grew, "Man, it's so great! The way you always get so excited when seeing me," he gushed, "What would I do without my little Vicky-poo?" he brought up both of his hands, squeezing my cheeks obnoxiously.
I groaned in annoyance, "Stop doing that!" I shouted, swatting his hands away in anger. Which of course, only caused him to laugh. I'll never win when it comes to Jeremy, never.
"Quit being so uptight, kid!" he shoved me, laughing once again. "Let's go...to class!" he exclaimed, attracting some unwanted attention. I winced, "I'll walk you to class!" he suggested eagerly.
"No thanks, I'm fine."
"Uhm, I'll walk you to the building where your class is located?"
"I can get there on my own."
"Alright, how about I just take you to the front entrance!"
"We're practically already here..."
"So, where can I walk you to?" he frowned.
"Wherever you want."
"I'll walk you to class!"
I can never fucking win when it comes to Jeremy.

Art. What a marvelous class, Mr. Way's grimace, Kellin's googly eyes, Tony's proud smile, everyone else very talented hands, then there's me. I'm not really good at this sort of stuff- the only reason I'd agreed to join was because Tony was in here. Oh, teenage struggles.
My eyes trailed over to the girl standing in front of me, she was without a doubt giving me a perfect view of her butt. Which looked, really nice. I kept my gaze there for a bit longer until the unsettling feeling of someone else's eyes were on me, I turned to look at Kellin, he looked away quickly- cheeks flushing a bright red. I smirked in amusement.
"So Kells, how's life been treating you?" I asked happily, hoping to get something useful out of this ball of plainness. Okay, that was unnecessary.
He shrugged, "It's been...interesting." he mumbled sheepishly, keeping his eyes trained on the paper on his desk. Come to think of it, he's only looked at me when he thinks I'm not paying attention, weirdo.
I nodded feebly, despite the fact that he wasn't giving me any of his attention whatsoever, "How's your...mom doing?" I asked awkwardly, eyebrows furrowing together as I spoke. Had I really just asked him how his mother was doing? Well fuck me with a pancake!
A faint chuckle escaped his lips, "She's alright, why do you ask?" he looked up at me with raised eyebrows, biting his lip to keep himself from laughing.
I shrugged nonchalantly, opening my mouth to speak when a sudden thought came to mind- 'If you don't do it today, I swear Vic...you'll regret it'- "Be my boyfriend." I spoke without hesitation, eyes widening after a few seconds of analyzing what I'd just said.
The class grew silent, a few murmurs here and there, had I said that out loud?
Well, fuck me with two pancakes!
Kellin stared at me with a blank expression, looking as if he was unsure if I was actually asking him or not. Which would make sense, I mean, April is right around the corner! In about...seven months. Oh, potato- tomato, right!? (lmao a potato flew around my room before you came hahaha)
I didn't even realize he hadn't responded until the room got uncomfortably quiet. Kellin sighed, quietly, "May I go to the restroom?" he asked, breaking the unbearable silence.
Mr. Way looked at him with wide eyes, then glanced at me with a look of sympathy on his face, "Go ahead," he gestured towards the door. Kellin got up and walked out, keeping his eyes trained on the floor the whole way.
"Rejected!" Jessie shouted, giving all of his little buddies fist bumps.
I actually felt...what's the word I'm looking for? Sad, heartbroken, agonized...No, those are the type of words I'd use to describe a breakup. Besides I never feel sad, not me! I've got a million reasons to smile, just like Jeremy!
And now I'm comparing myself to Jeremy.
