- Vic's P.O.V -
Kellin's been acting really weird lately, it's as if he knows something he shouldn't know about yet...I'm pretty sure it's nothing though. Besides that, I have finally found a job. No more lazing around all day! From now on, I am a man.
I was working at a pretty snazzy pet shop, because who can resist these lil' animals? They had everything! From bunnies, to guinea pigs, to dogs, cats, fishes, snakes, spiders, and bi- Kellin?
When did he walk in here? I glanced around the shop to make sure there wasn't any doors I hadn't heard about, which was unlikely.
I flinched as soon as someone's slim arm curled around my shoulders, "What're you doing here, Vic?" Ms. Quinn asked, her tone as laid back as ever.
I stared up at her with wide eyes, "How'd you...?" I had to double check to make sure there wasn't any doors I didn't notice before, because, it's happened before. Although, surely I'd notice these two walk in, right?
'They don't call you an idiot for nothing,'
True.
She glanced down at me with a carefree smile on her face, "I actually had no idea you were the type to like animals, I mean, seriously. Hey Ke-!" she began calling out, I'd managed to put my hand over her mouth before she got a chance to actually catch his attention.
"This stays between you and I, alright?" I whispered, she nodded slowly, "I'll explain later," I reassured her, trying to make a cool exit, only to walk into the last person I had wanted to walk into- the boss, "Lacy, fancy seeing you here!" I whisper-yelled, accidentally straining my throat in the process.
She glared down at me, "Please tell me that is not the way you speak to the customers," she sighed, I shook my head quickly, "Good. There's a kid over there asking for some information on the bunnies, I'm busy right now, so you take care of it, okay?" she made it seem like it was a question, but her eyes held all of those words she wasn't able to say. I nodded, despite the fact that I really wanted to kick her in the face- which would be pretty difficult, considering my leg would probably only make it up to her chest, she's very tall. "Alright, go on," she shoved me into the opposite direction.
I sighed, girls really do hold onto grudges for a really long time. Whatever, I guess. I made my way over to the small pets, "You needed help?" I asked, before even turning the corner.
"Vic?" Kellin's voice came from the other side, luckily I my face was hidden by this semi-tall aisle.
"Uhm, no-" I cleared my throat, "This is...Thor." What the fuck!? Then again, it's like Vic-Thor, get it? Alright, now is not the time to be joking around!
Kellin laughed, "I already know you're here, Vic. I noticed you when we walked in, but you seemed busy, so," he stayed quiet, "You can come out now?" he chuckled.
Oh, right.
I made my way around the aisle, heart practically pouncing out of my chest at the sight in front of me, it was cuteness overload. Kellin times two! The guy was holding a bunny, holy shit!
Kellin looked up at me with a small smile displayed on his face, "Mike actually spilled the beans, though- said you had something important to tell me?" he set the fluffy animal back down where it belonged.
Something important...? I don't think I've mentioned saying something important to Kellin lately, unless- No way. They said they'd give me time to think about it, didn't they? It's too soon to tell him now! Especially in a pet shop, what's up with that!?
