After finally getting back to Korea Jung-Hoon dropped Yoonji and Jungkook off at the company, wished them well and then flew off. Yoonji and Jungkook waved goodbye and then entered in through the door in the alley, heading straight to the meeting room where Taehyung waited anxiously.
Once Taehyung saw them his eyes lit up and he raced to embrace them.
"Yoonji! Jungkook! I'm so glad you're both safe!" He exclaimed before hugging them tightly.
Yoonji smiled. "It was all thanks to you Taehyung! You saved us and made sure we were brought back safely. The old boss never would have done that. You're officially the best boss this company has ever had!" She declared, standing on her tippy toes to press a grateful kiss to his cheek.
Taehyung flushed pink and played with the hem of his dress. "Am I really?" He asked, glancing up at them for affirmation.
Yoonji and Jungkook nodded and enveloped him in a reassuring hug. Taehyung's eyes welled up with tears and he let out a choked sob.
"I love you two so much!" He declared, nuzzling the both of them. Jungkook smiled.
"We love you too Taehyung." He assured the weepy boss. After they had finished being emotional, Taehyung pulled away and let out a happy sigh.
"Do you have anything else you want to talk about my beautiful honey buns?" He asked them inquisitively.
Yoonji glanced down at the floor and then back up at Taehyung. "Yes." She remarked reluctantly.
"Well go ahead! I'm all ears!" Taehyung gushed, gazing at the both of them sweetly. Yoonji sighed sadly.
"Since I'm going to be graduating this year, I was wondering if I could retire from the assassin business. It's just I want to focus on my education and then maybe get a real job. Maybe even start a family with Jungkook." She admitted, her cheeks flushing a light pink.
Taehyung's eyes widened in surprise and he glanced down at her curiously. "Are you sure you want to retire so early?" He prompted, crossing his arms over his chest. Yoonji nodded.
"I'm sure. But since we owe you a favor, it only makes sense that you should be able to call on us in any time of need." She offered, giving Taehyung a cute smile. Taehyung tried to remain serious but he couldn't help letting out a chuckle.
"Alright. That sounds like a fair deal. Just promise me you'll keep in touch!" He demanded, trying to contain his emotions.
Yoonji smiled and nodded. "Of course!" She assured him, giving him one last tight hug. Taehyung cried.
"I'm going to miss you both!" He sobbed, pulling Jungkook into the hug as well. Yoonji and Jungkook comforted him until he pulled away, wiping away his tears.
"Now go before I change my mind!" He blubbered, giving them a boxy smile. Yoonji and Jungkook bowed and then exited the building.
"Were you really serious about starting a family?" Jungkook asked excitedly, his eyes sparkling. Yoonji laughed.
"Of course I was bunny boy!" She teased him as they strolled back to her mom's apartment.
