Chapter 10

"Ashton!! You should have seen it!! I beat them in our wheelchair race!"
Michael came running in the door.

"No you cheated!" Calum shouted and Luke started laughing.

"I'm sure he didn't cheat" I said sitting myself up in my hospital bed. I had been kept here for over 2 weeks observation. I wasn't aloud near sharp objects and had to be escorted to the bathroom.

I can't say I blame them but it was getting annoying. The guys had been spending most of their time here with me. the only time they weren't here was night time and school time.

"Are you kidding! he pushed me into the wall and I call interference from security!" Calum yells

"Keep your voice down, we are in a hospital" Luke says trying to stop laughing then popping down on the bed next to me. "I have amazing news!"

"What news?"

"You get released in two days if nothing happens and I don't think I was suppose to tell you that but who cares" Luke says without a breath in between words.

"That's awesome! Movie night at Luke's in two nights!" Calum says doing a little dance.

"Give him a night to settle in" Luke retorted. thank you Luke.

"Can we at least hang out the next day? Please?" Calum begged and i nodded.
After what happened at school mum agreed to let me be home schooled. I was so happy I wouldn't be going back. I bet everyone else there was too, except for the guys. They completely understood though.

One thing I couldn't get out of my head though is I hadn't seen Harry in a 3 weeks and won't ever see him again.

Luke had told me how Calum cried when he found out. them two were very close.

Harry's funeral was 4 days away. normally they have them sooner but they agreed not to have it until I recovered. whether I was out or not I would be aloud leave for the funeral but I guess I was gonna be out.

"How about a wheelchair race!" Michael suggested and we all shook our heads. I did not want to get injured and end up hospitalised for another week or so. "You guys are no fun!"

"Did you see how angry they were the first time" Luke stated and Michael groaned.

"At least we got it on video" Calum said retrieving a smile from Michael.

"We should post it on YouTube!!! You know for our umm fans?" Michael said and we started laughing. I guess you could say we have fans but the thought is just ridiculous

The guys had posted the video but forgot about one small detail. we then had a heap of questions like "why are you at the hospital" and "where is Ashton?"

They didn't know what to say and I sure as hell didn't want people to know why I was here and that it was me they were at the hospital for. we ended up just ignoring it and hoped it would go away.

"Visiting hours are over" a nurse said quickly popping in and out of the room.
Michael had called dibs on her and we all thought he was delusional if he though he had a chance.

"Seeya tomorrow. mate" Luke said and they all exited the room leaving me to my quiet hospital room where I was stuck listening to my own thoughts and with nothing to keep my mind off Harry.
