Chapter 15

"How was school?" My mum asked with anticipation as soon as Luke and I walked in the door.

"Yes, really good, amazingly fantastic, and good, bye" I said and we walked straight into Luke's room. she had a confused look on her face. "Emergency video game playing! Let's kill stuff!"

"Thanks for putting up with my shit" he said as we sat down on his bed and chucked me a controller.

"Hey, you've put up with worse shit from me" I said turning on the console.

"You shit was serious shit though" he argued.

"Hey! Remember what u said on the phone, all shit is serious shit" we both started laughing right then.

"Can we stop saying shit now" Luke said grinning.

We then heard a thud from the door "shit!" We heard someone say in pain but after our last conversation we could help but start laughing again. the door then opened revealing Calum.

"What's so funny?" He asked.

"Shit" luke answered once we stopped laughing but we quickly started again. Calum stood there looking confused.

"Pass me a controller" he said ignoring us and sitting down next to me.

In the middle of our game Luke just paused it without warning. "guys" Luke whined "I can't get her out of my mind!" He said laying back in on the bed.

"Write a song about it" Calum replied causing Luke to sit up quickly.

"But that won't get my mind off it!" Luke said glaring at Calum.

"But it will let out all the feelings you have for her" I said.

"But we aren't helping" Calum stated "we would just end up trash talking the bitch" Luke whacked Calum round the back of the head. it still sunrises me how he defends her. especially after today.

"Fine, I'll write a song about it" he agreed and then I paused the game.

"I did it!" Luke said running in through Michaels front door where Michael, Calum and I were sitting in the lounge.

"Congrats, I hope you used protection" Michael bluntly answered with no emotion but Calum and I couldn't keep a strait face.

"No, you idiot" Luke said "I wrote the song and I think its pretty good!"

"What song?" Michael asked.

"Just follow me!" Luke said heading down stairs and we all let out a groan and got off of the couch.

We walked downstairs where Luke had already sat down with his acoustic guitar.

"That was amazing" Michael said.

"I think 5 seconds of summer have a new song!" Calum said.

"Teach us!" I yelled and Luke looked really pleased with himself.

I sat down at my new drum kit, Michael grabbed his guitar and Calum picked up his bass.

We spent the next hour and a bit learning the music to Luke's song. Calum got some solos in it and Michael did some harmonies. we had it sounding pretty good. a little messy but nothing that couldn't be fixed.

"Imagine if we became famous" Michael said laying on the ground.

"Yep, because that would happen" luke said in a sarcastic tone and we all laughed a bit.

"But seriously, how cool would it be to play concerts and stuff" Michael continued.

"We could work in recording studios and meet other famous people" calum joined in with the fantasy.

"How cool would it be to actually get to hang out with our idols" I said

"Bloody amazing" Michael said as if he were daydreaming "I wanna hang out with all time low, they seem like our type of people" everyone laughed at Michaels comment.

"We should get a gig or something" I suggested.

"Yeah, just because we don't make it big Dont mean we can't still play for people and stuff" Calum said.

"And we could write more songs of our own" luke said.

All this stuff would just be words unless I do something. Maybe I can get us a gig and then we will have to practice. they will see how amazing it is to have a gig and wanna do it more. it will encourage everyone.

It's settled. in Gonna get us a gig.
