Chapter 7

"I feel bad leaving ash though" I hear Luke say before I walk in through his bedroom door. everyone was here.. including Vanessa.

"Hey guys, what ya talking bout?" I ask and they all look at each other.

"How they are all leaving for camp tomorrow" Vanessa chimes in and Michael and Calum shoots her a glare. Luke just looks nervous.

"Okay then..." I break the awkward silence.

"You sure you can't come with?" Michael asks.

"I'm sure" I nod smiling at them

"Well I have to go, you boys don't miss me too much, bye lukey" Vanessa says and exits the room.

"Finally!" Michael breathed out and Calum laughed, them both receiving a glare from Luke. "Sorry man but she doesn't know when to shut up"

Luke presses play on the TV remote "really?" I ask laughing.

"Mean girls is an amazing movie!" Luke says crossing his arms I just laugh.
We sit there watching the movie passing around a bowl of ice cream

"you were right, this is a good movie" I say when that blonde chick gets hit with the bus and we all start laughing

"Don't have too much fun with out me!" I yell driving off as they all wave goodbye to me don't tell anyone but I'm really gonna miss those jerks.

As I'm driving I hear sirens behind me and I pull over to let them past. It was a fire truck, ambulance and a cop car. where are they going? I start to get worried and follow the sirens

No! I can't be! They stop in front or my house and I park in the first spot I can running over to my house. "let me through! Mum! Harry!" A police man spotted me and grabbed hold of me "let go of me!" I yell I see my mum walking out coughing with her arm around a fire man. where's Harry?

A man comes out carrying my little brother out of the house unconscious. my heart feels like it just stopped. I couldn't move. I couldn't speak. it was like everything just stopped.

I was sitting in the waiting room at the hospital. I was there for hours and I hadn't moved. I was just waiting. waiting to hear his cheery voice speak my name again. "ashton" my mum said putting her hand on my shoulder. I just shook her off. "you should eat something" I didn't say anything. I don't want to do anything until I see my brother.

I want to text Michael Luke or Calum mainly Luke. I need one of my mates. I don't want to ruin their fun at camp though. they are leaving tomorrow. I don't want to be a bother.

"Your going to school tomorrow" my mum blurts out and I just look at her. how could she make me go to school? My brother is in hospital, I have no house and I'm alone. "you need to get out if this hospital" I shake my head.

"I'm not leaving" she doesn't say anything else.

I fell asleep on the uncomfortable hospital chairs. I'm not going to leave. I'm not leaving him.
