Carnias POV

So I just go the medication to keep me under control if I get a severe headache or dizziness, thank God Xavier wasn't allowed in with me incase he finds ou--- why do I care if he finds out or not? I mean it's not like it's gonna hurt his feelings or it's gonna affect me... But something inside of me is pulling it back.

We left the hospital and drove home it was 2pm and so I went straight to his room to hide away the medication in the closet hoping he wont be able to find it. Soon after I went down to make something to eat since it pasted lunch time.

Xaviera POV

I see carnia almost running into the bedroom and so I followed behind seeing what was going on and that's when I see her walk into the closet. She must be hiding the prescription damn it now I need to find it. She walks out and I quickly run downstairs and jumped onto the couch pretending to read the newspaper...

"Do you want anything to eat?" She says with a dead tone of voice.

"Yes if your making something" she then walked into the kitchen and started preparing lunch, this was my only time to go find the medication. I ran upstairs trying not to make a sound incase she follows or asks me. I run into the closet and then I realised how big of a closet I have including hers now... FUCK this is going to take forever.

I search through the cupboards going through every inch of the area until the very last drawer, it was carnias underwear drawer... Should I go through it or? I should it's the last place to find so it must be it. As I walk up to the drawer the closet flee open as I see carnia eyeing me as I step easy from the draw.

"What are you doing? Why did you take out all my clothes?"

I look around realising that I trashed the whole closet with carnias clothes every as I was digging to find the medication.

"I'm sorry carnia I was just looking for something important and remembered I put it in one of your draws before you moved in..."

"All documents and files that were in the draws I took and placed them on your office tale in the other room so if you don't mind, go downstairs and eat as I will clean this mess."

Ahhhh God darnit I missed my chance and she probably knows the truth and is going to hide it somewhere else.

"Ok, I'll just wait for you--"

"It's ok just go" she said trying to get rid of me. It's not that easy getting rid of me especially since I'm so fucking curious what the fucking prescription says.

"Nah I'll help you clean up since I cause the mess." I gave her a warm smile and she gave back a are you ok smile. Oh well at least I might get a glimpse on the medication if she pulls it out.

Half an hour passed as we finally finish cleaning up and that when she said "can you go down first I need to chance since the food stained my clothes?"

She is so smart thinking of so many excuses that make sense, now I definately missed my chance... Wait why am i curious? She's just probably not well or like no weeellllll..... Wait she's not well? Why wouldn't she be well? I mean look at her, she's so healthy and beautiful and and there's so many things I can't even name it.

I walk down stairs as I see the beautifully plated dishes on the table. I feel like I'm at a restaurant just looking at these platings. I dig in not being able to hold myself back and that's when I see Carnia laughing at the entrance,

"What's so funny" I ask sternly.

"You look like a kid eating like that" as she walks towards me holding out her hand. Does she want me to hold her hand or is she going to cup my face? I was getting excited that she was gonna make the first move, but then her hand headed to the corner of lip...

"Little kid you got crumbs on the side of your lip" she said trying to hide her giggle. Great the biggest Dumbo ever, my one chance to make an impression that I incredibly love her food turns into a childcare centre.

"I just love your food, and I couldn't hold myself back--"

"I know I can see"

I love her smile, it's so pure and innocent, it made me forget about the medication as we both carried on eating.
