chpt 26 - Lola's time

Xaviers POV

I don't know what to say... My beautiful princess is just so beautiful, she is my world and carnias my world.

"Dada?" Oh no I didn't... Did my daughter just say Dada?

"Dada loves you so much princess" I can feel warm tears run down my face as I look at my beautiful baby girl.

I look up to see carnia look down and away and that's when I asked

"Can I put her back to her room and talk to you alone?" I'm trying to keep calm and hold my emotions in because right now there are so many and i can't seem to figure out which I am wanting to deal with.

I take my Lola upstairs to her bedroom which was pink decorated really well, and kissed her before me and carnia head back down stairs.

We both sat down opposite each other and stayed silent for a couple of minutes.

"How have you been living?" I say trying to keep it normal between us.

"It's been ok I guess, I missed you though..." When she said she hat I stood up and gave her a hug. I kissed this hug so much I can't even describe how it feels. Now I can sense so much weight been lifted of my shoulders.

"I missed you so much too... why didn't you come back to me?" I finally asked pulling back and wiping her tears away.

"I was horrified looking myself in the mirror and was worried the fact you wouldn't wan-----"

"Don't you ever think that or believe that EVER! I love you no matter what so please don't ever disintegrate yourself because I love you" I say stopping her from finishing her sentence.

"Can you come back to me?" I ask hoping the answer will be a yes.

"I----- I will come back to you" I didn't jump with joy but I hugged her again.

"Ok I'll help you pack and send some men over to help load your stuff onto the truck" the whole afternoon I was talking with carnia about how her life has been and what she has been going, and we got closer and closer... It felt as if she has never left me nor has she changed.

Finally it was time to go and I got the chance to hold my princess in the car back to my mansion.

I brought Lola and Carnia to Lola's room. Yes I made a room especially for Lola a while back because I knew this would happen♥️

"I hope she likes it" I whispered to carnia because Lola's sleeping on my shoulder.

"She will love it" carnia smiled back before leaning onto my other shoulder and i lent my head on-top of hers. This moment feels so unreal. It's like a whole complete family.

I placed Lola in her cot and took carnia back to our room where everything started.

"Let's lay down" I suggested and she nodded which I led her to the bed and we both laid in each other's arms until we drifted to sleep, My life is finally completed.

I woke up after a bit to find carnia still in my arms. I looked at her lost in her facial features, I touched her eye lids down to her nose and cesed her lips. She was beautiful even though she thinks I will judge her for not having hair. She is beautiful inside out and just because of that doesn't mean I will give up on her. I kissed her forehead and went to check up on Lola to see how she's doing.

I open the door to find Lola playing with the stuffed toys in the cot.

"Hey princess how are you doing?" I picked her put and kissed her cute little cheeks, she smiled and laughed as she saw my face.

"Dada?" I always break down when she says this. It's probably a dad's thing where their child finally calls them dad.

I take her downstairs to the lounge room where I played with her on the carpet. She loves to run around though she is still wobbling around falling over a couple of times.

"Good night" carnia says walking downstairs, I look at the time realising it's 8pm.

"I need to bathe Lola and get her ready for bed." And Carnia picks Lola up and Lola reaches her arms out for Carnia.

"She slept 3 hours ago though" I say following them upstairs.

"Don't you know Xavier baby's need sleep and a lot too."

"How would I know if I didn't get a chance to be by you and our baby's side?" Oh I didn't realise I said that out loud.

"That's not what I mea---"

"It's ok, I get it, you have always blamed me for not allowing you in Lola's life... I'm sorry." She said before entering the bathroom and locking it, not letting me in.
