Carnias POV

I walk in seeing Xavier's lips all covered in crumbs, I couldn't help but laugh, how can such a grown man still eat like a child? Haha,

Why does this feel so familiar? It hurts seeing him laugh but why? What's the real reason behind this? I need to find out, I need to know what's going on.

"Xavier" I say but then stop realising I haven't prepared myself in what to say next.

"What's wrong?" He suddenly became serious...

"Uhhh-- I I --- can you tell me what happened... Like before, because you said you know me right? And I want to know what happened"

"Ok I'll tell you, we were dating before when you were in highschool and I was in college and we have dated for 3 years. The day before your graduation I called and called but you didn't answer and so I went to look for you at your place but no one was at home. I contacted all your friends and families but no one picked up or know anything about your sudden disappearance. I was worried day and night just waiting for a call but not a single call or text was made... I was so depressed and had to go see a therapist to get me back to how I was living. Everything was hard without you and I---I thought of all the worst possiblities that could have happened-----" I ran up to him and gave him a hug. This poor man has suffered so much because of me and I feel so bad for letting him go through this by himself.

Xavier POV

I finally told her the truth, it hurts remembering all the things I went through and the pain I help on for 3 years. But it doesn't matter anymore she's by my side now and being in her embrace is unbelievable, she smells exactly like before... Like cherries, oh how I wish we stayed like this forever.

"Xavier how about we start a fresh?" She said looking at me.

"YES, I think that's a great idea, we should start fresh" inside me was full of excitement though I kept it in so it didn't seem obvious. I can't believe she made the move first! I thought I would do it but no she did and I'm overwhelmed of how brave and independent this woman is... My woman!

The next day I woke up to an empty bed. "Carnia?"

"I'm in the bathroom" she yells and so I headed to the bathroom. I wrapped my hands around her waisted from behind and laid my face into her neck as I kissed her and said good morning.

"Well good morning to you too Mr, shouldn't you get ready it's already 10 in the morning"

"I can get up anytime since I'm here with you by my side baby, so I need a name especially for you....marshmallow"

"Marshmallow? Why marshmallow?"

"Cause your innocent and simple like the way a marshmallow is and beautiful of cause"

"Beautiful like a marshmallow?, Haha I actually like it"

"I know you would" and I place another kiss on her neck but this time I went in for a slight suck as she moans in pleasure.

"Marshmallow your driving me insane, you might even making me hard ;)"

"Stop with the nonsense Xavier it's time we get up and head to the office." She said getting out of my grip and trying to hide away her red flushed cheeks. I couldn't help but giggle at how cute she is, what a lucky man it is to have such a wonderful girl by their side, and guess what, I'm one of them.

We enter the building with eyes on us everywhere. I could see the uncomfortable look on Carnias face...

"Don't you all have something to do? GET BACK TO WORK OR ILL FIRE ALL OF YOUS"

I couldn't help but scream at those assholes not minding their own business. As we got to the top floor carnia exists the elevator first and she walked right into her office shuting the door behind her. I speed walk up to the door to open it but she locked it...

"Carnia? Carnia open the door NOW" I was practically yelling at this point. She unlocks the door and as I hear it I opened the door and stormed inside locking it behind me.

"What do you think your doing everyone's gonna know" she whispers not trying to grab anyones attention outside.

"What right do you have to shut me out?"

"What no I wasn't shutting you out, you got the wrong idea, I accidentally locked it as I closed the door"

I wasn't buying it, it's to much of a coincidence. I take steps closer to her and she takes steps back... I can see there's only one step left until she bumps the wall, I took a large last step and trapped her between me and the wall...
