"Girls, red or dark brown?" H asked as she held both shades in her hands, we all voted dark brown and she put it on, she looked beautiful as always. The guy that she likes, Andrew, is gonna be here so I hope something will finally happen between them. I think he's a semi douche but she has to get her heart broken in order to move on.
I was wearing the black silk dress I bought the other day with the girls, black Louboutin stilettos, lots of gold jewelry and some pretty heavy makeup.
Ashley was doing my hair tonight, we decided on big wavy curls.
"Aly you okay?" She asked and I snapped out of my thoughts "Yeah, I don't know, what if you and Heather are right?" I expressed my thoughts out loud.
She put the air wrap down and looked at me "Maybe you like her, maybe you love her, maybe you like the chase. No matter what is it, it's okay. If you fall in love and eventually it will end in a disaster like you think it will, everything will still be worth it. Because when you make memories with a person that you love and who loves you back, you are happy, you experience the purest form of joy and that is a feeling that I can't even describe. So if that's the case, no matter how it will end it will be worth it. And if it isn't, if you just like her because she's pretty and she's the perfect target that's also okay. No matter what things will be fine, and as long as you're having fun and you're not hurting anybody then it's cool" she said and emphasized that last part, because she knows that I tend to hurt people and she hates that about me, everyone does.
The thing about hurting people is that they gave me the power to do that, it's like they poured gasoline all over and handed me a lighter and expected me not to burn the entire place down. It's ridiculous and in a sense people should be aware of the power they give other people over themselves.
She kept on doing my hair and we all talked together, about school and cheer, Ash also talked about college. She really seemed to be having fun at college and I was really happy for her, she was really stressed out about it before.
It took her a while to adjust, freshman year she got so depressed I think she gained half her body weight. I was so worried, it was very unusual for her.
She was always the one monitoring what we're eating, forcing me to go to the gym, teaching me how to lift weights.
For her to gain that much weight was concerning, but she pulled through whatever that was and now she's back to herself, cheerful as always.
...
It was now 11 PM and the place was getting crowded, I was already on my second shot which was nothing for me, I really do know how to drink.
The girls and I were talking about H and Andrew when I spotted the new girls.
They all walked in together like a clan or something, and the leader was obviously Abigail, I wonder if that's how we look like, do I really look this intimidating? Who am I kidding, I'm way worse.
Abby was wearing a pretty off the shoulder white top with some dark blue high waisted shorts, her hair was braided and her makeup was subtle, but it enhanced her cheekbones and her pretty honey colored eyes.
I walked over to her, she needed guidance before her first party, just like Ashley talked to me and gave me my first ever shot of tequila.
"Hey Abby, I'm glad you came" I said softly and we hugged, she was excited that I was even talking to her, cutie pie.
"Thanks for inventing us Alex" a excited smile plastered to her face.
I told her everything Ash told me, that I'm here for her and if anyone dares to look at her the wrong way I'll deal with them. I was really big on no raping at my parties, especially when it came to people who were like family to me, and Abby was now my baby sister.
