Elaine's POV;

It has been three days since my foot was sprained. It was now a lot better and I am able to walk now. It was night time and I got dressed up. And went to the restaurant where Mike was waiting for me.

"So what did you want to talk about?" Mike asked as I was looking at my phone. A few days ago, me and Atlas made a plan to get Kate and Mike to talk. Since Mike avoided Kate, I lied about wanting his advice on something as to bring him to the restaurant. I told Atlas to bring Kate to the restaurant as well. So right now I was messaging Atlas to ask where was he. But as expected, he rarely replies or even checks my messages.

"Umm..." I said as I tried to think of a topic

"Do you want to ask something about Atlas?" He asked

"Yeah." I lied. I wanted Mike to stay here a bit longer just until Kate is here.

"About what?" He said

"Oh you see, I was wondering that.....Umm..." I said as I try to think of something, "what type of girls do Atlas like?" I asked. I know it was a stupid question. But I needed to ask something to keep him here. Atlas wasn't replying, so I didn't know when they'd be here.

"Why? I don't really know. We've never talked about such things before." He replied

"Oh." I was kind of disappointed. I really wanted to hear what his type was.

"But you know, back in high school, there was this girl. She had long blonde hair, and was a quiet type of girl. She was really shy and meek. I think Atlas had a crush on her. Because when she would get picked on by others, he'd protect her." He said. Oh so he did have someone he liked. I was kind of sad to know that his type is the complete opposite to me. I'm not shy and meek type of girl and I'm not even quiet. In fact I love to talk. And I've been talking so much that I'm pretty sure I annoy him.

"So did he ever confess or did they go out?" I asked curiously

"No. Let's just say that during high school, Atlas got into a company of guys that weren't good." He said

"What do you mean?" I asked

"He started smoking and got into a lot of fights." He replied. That's a first. I never heard of that before.

"So, what else?" I asked curiously

"What else?" He said

"Yeah, you see I'm curious about how Atlas used to be and I can't help but think, how nice it would have been to know Atlas when he was in high school or college. You know what I'm saying, right?" I said. I couldn't help but wish that I would've met him during our high school or college days. It would've been so fun to study together. Although, I can already imagine how he would've been. Despite the things that Mike told me, I'm pretty sure he would've been a nice person from inside.

"No. Because I already knew him in high school and college." He replied as he chuckled

"Yeah yeah." I said as I checked my phone and still there was no reply. Why does he never reply?

"Oh yeah, one more thing. What is up with his phone? I get people these days use phone a lot, and I'm not stopping him. But he's constantly using it and when you message or call, he doesn't reply. Sometimes I get so irritated that I feel like throwing it out." I said which made Mike laugh

"Relax. It's just a phone. Besides I can assure you, he's just working and there are no girls he's talking to. He doesn't have anyone he likes or so I've heard." Mike said

"I wasn't talking about girls." I replied as I felt a bit relieved for no reason. Then I see Atlas and Kate come in the restaurant

"Excuse me, I have to go to the washroom." I said as I grabbed my bag and got up. At the same time, Kate came and sat across Mike. Mike was surprised to find Kate there. And he was about to leave when Kate told him to at least listen to her, which made him sit back down.
