Heartbroken

Chapter 18

I pulled up to my house and cut the car off. Getting out the car I grabbed the groceries and headed for the door. I unlocked the house and walked in.

I put the items on the counter and took them out. I got my kitchen sat up for my dinner date tonight. What Keith said played in my mind over and over.

I can't believe he knows about what is going on. But how? That's the question? I don't know why this man want leave me the hell alone. Meeting him was the worse day of my life. I can't stand him.

Yes his dad did give me my first real job after I got out of college for law school. But that was not a something The was given to me. I earned that position.

After I got the position I worked my ass of to be the best lawyer I could be. Keith didn't like that. He thought I was coming for him. Which I wasn't. I just wanted to move up in the company.

And I did that. Mr. Riley was moving me up in the company very fast. Before I knew it I was up for a  partner in the company.

Keith was his son and he thought he was suppose to automatically get it. Which was not how my father raised me. He always told me to work hard for all you want.

And I did that. Then that's when Keith started all his shenanigans against me. He got me removed from his dad company. Then I went to another company and moved up in the company.

Which that was their competitors law firm. My company was bribing them down cause they had me on their team. And when what I learned from school and his father it was working. So he had me removed from that company too.

So I was left with nothing but to move. My parents fell ill and I had to take care of them. And that's when I moved here. I applied for the job with Amber and Raven and got the job.

Besides Keith's dad company which is now his company today this one is the most highly paid. And now he's trying to threaten me with this one.

I'm so sick of Keith. I'm trying to decide do I need to tell the girls or fight him myself. I don't want them to confront him now because he can ruin me still.

This is starting to be too much for me. This is not how I saw my life. I just wanted to take care of my parents and make my life easier. Maybe one day find me a wife and have some kids.

And then here is this with the sisters. I am not dating both of them. I'm just talking to them. Now yeah we slept together well me and Raven did.

I just pleased Amber. But I can't lie I want her too. She's such an intelligent woman. Raven is just on the edge and spicy.

I don't know what I'm gonna do about that. I really like both of them. That was never my plan to be involved with both of them like this.

It just kind of happened that way. Now both women are in love with me. And their crook of a dad knows about it.

Now he is using that against me now. I have to be extra careful with this. I walked in the kitchen and prepped my food.

I called Amber just to set her mood. The phone rung a few times and then she answered it.

"Hello. Good afternoon." She said in a perky voice.

"How is your day going?" Derrick asked.

"It's going well. Getting myself ready to come over to you."

"I can't wait to see you. I'm prepping the food now."

"Hmm. Sounds like this is about to be some slamming food." Amber said laughing.

"Well we will most definitely find out when you taste it want we."

"We most definitely will."

"Listen Amber. I have something I want to tell you." Derrick started as his voice got deeper.

Amber didn't like the sound of this so she got worried.

"Omg is something wrong? I don't like bad news." She said nervously.

This made Derrick very nervous.

"You know what it's not important. I just wanted to um...well don't worry about it. I'll figure it out."

"No. If it's something you need to say tell me. I don't like secrets. Whatever it is, we can work through it together." Amber said.

This made Derrick feel even more guilty. He really wanted to tell her about her dad and his plan but he didn't want to ruin his parents care either.

"No. It's ok. I promise. Let me go and get dinner on. I'll see you in a little ok. I'm about to text you my address."

"Ok I'll be waiting. But are you sure there's nothing you want to tell me?" Amber asked concerned.

"I'm sure. See you in a little beautiful." Derrick said and hung up the phone.

Derrick:
4501 Drexel Lane

Derrick put his hands on the counter and put his head down. Damn man. I got to tell her what's going on.

Derrick started prepping the food and started dinner. He had about a hour or so to get dinner done and the table set.

As the time passes Derrick finished dinner and set the mood. He dimmed the lights and lite some candles. He put on some soft music and put some champagne on ice.

He went and changed his clothes for dinner and waited for Amber to get there. She rings the door bell and he opened the door.

"Wow you are beautiful Amber. Please come in."

"Thank you." She said as she walked in.

When she saw all the candles and the flowers all over the place she was shocked.

"All this for me?"

"Yes. And there is more where that came from."

How is this gonna end?????

Will they sleep together????

Will he tell her about her dad?????

He is so comfortable with these sisters!!!!!
