The past few weeks have passed by slowly. Everything stayed the same, except for Luke and I. He stopped with his comments which made me stop with mine. It felt different and calm, almost like boring till afterschool today.

"Mum answer your phone please" I spoke into the the voicemail. Its was one of those stormy days, they were the worst because I couldn't walk in the rain.

It was half hour past the time school ended and it was pouring rain. It was one of those days where I didn't put in effort to school and casually forgot my umbrella by my door at home. Yeah sure I had my big sweater but it wouldnt save me from the rain, being sick wasn't what I wanted to be over a weekend. Today was Friday.

My phone lit up meaning I had a text.

Mum - 'At the Dentist, so sorry ask your brother or your friends for a ride love you be safe xx'

And the best Mum of the year award goes to her.

The best part now was how much battery I had left on my phone, five percent to be exact. I didn't have enough battery left to call. This is why phones nowadays suck, they can't even last a day.

Everybody was gone well I thought.

"Can this day get any worse than it already is?" I whispered a bit louder then I meant to.

"Depends who your asking" Luke sat down besides me.

"Really wish I knew" I sighed "Why are you here anyways? To bother me? Todays not the day Lucas" I had no clue why I called him by his full name.

"It doesn't even matter anymore" He said.

"okay I guess" I shrugged.

A few silent minutes passed by, Luke was addicted to his phone. It kept ringing over and over, I had enough of it. "Look if all your gonna do is be on your phone, can you atleast go sit somewhere else because your really starting to get on my nerves."

"Pissy much?" A smirk played on his lips.

"You know what? i'll just leave, id rather be sick as hell instead of sitting here till late with you" I got up. It was true, Id do anything to get away from him and his ringing phone at this point.

"Wait Jojo" He called a nickname for me already. Hes a real punk if he thought he was worthy of calling me my nickname.

"No not you! You don't get to call me that, only friends and family" I spinned quick on my heel close to slipping on the wet ground but kept still with him grabbing my hand.

"Its just a nickname!" He argued back.

"Luke whats up your sleeve that you wanna pick a fight today? Why not yesterday? Why today?" I ripped my hand from his grip and pushed his chest. He didnt answer "I thought so."

I turned around preparing myself for the rain. This wasn't gonna be fun.

It was pouring and as soon as I stepped on too the sidewalk part with no covering, I was wet instantly. My shoes were ruined when I stepped in a puddle.

Just my luck.

"You need a ride home? Come on" Luke called behind me. I knew I should've just accept his offer but naturally i'm to stubborn. He called a few more times before coming up behind me and dragging me to his car.

As soon as we were both in his car, his AC was full on blast. Since I was basically soaking from the rain, I started shivering. It was a natural habbit I had when I was cold.

"Oh shit sorry" He immediately switched the AC off as soon as he saw me shivering. "I have a blanket in the back, let me get it" he pointed up a finger signalling for me to wait.
