Today I woke up earlier then usual to stop by the music room. I didnt catch the mans name, so hopefully i'd find him and ask for his name.
Last night I thought about how he was right, music is part of me. I know I won't fit in the business world and the only thing i'm good at is probably only guitar.
I could make a life out of it well a happier life then joining business. Dad would not be proud at all, he always thought the art industry was full of fouls finding the easy way through life easily without getting a degree.
Mum didn't think the same way but she wasn't exactly the one to stand up to dad.
I on the other hand disagreed with dad, people don't do it to get through life easier, to get out of going to a good UNI. Instead I believed people practiced such thing to be good at it and it made them happy finding a way to express themselves.
The hallways of the school weren't as filled with students like usually, there were a few but not many, This is how I knew I was early, I liked this since that way I wouldn't have to squeeze through the crowd.
Luckily the music room had the lights on although the door was locked. I knocked and waited for a response.
A few minutes passed and a very tired looking guy from yesterday opened the door letting me in.
"You came back" he smiled.
"Yeah I did but I didn't catch your name?" I said.
"Call me Robert, I dont like people calling me by my last name." he made a disgusted face. "They make me feel old when I am young in my opinion"
"Sounds good I guess, but yea I think I made my mind up on joning the music program"
"That was quick, I just asked you yesterday but i'm glad you agreed to my offer. This is going to be a good year having you in the class now lets get down to some paper work" he rambled running to his desk and looking through the papers scattered around.
He was quite the mess but some people work better with a mess.
After a few signings, I thought i'd be out of here but one last thing was missing.
"And your parents signature will be needed" he said handing me a paper filled with two blank lines empty without a signature.
"Uh yeah" I swallowed the lump in my throat.
"Your parents do know right?" he said giving me a confused look.
"Sure they do" I lied.
"Okay kiddo you scared me for a bit because your parents must know and approve, but don't worry i'm sure your parents are proud" he said making me feel worse over this because one thing was for sure and that was my parents would not be okay with this.
"I'll bring this back tommorrow" I said reffering to the paper in my hands.
By now the bell to head to class could go off in any minute.
I exited his classroom and sneaked around heading to my locker without seeing any familiar faces.
Just as I saw my locker in range, the one and only Lexi stopped me.
"Hello brat" she smiled brightly showing her white pearl teeth.
"Hello Lexi" I mocked her tone.
"Why are you around my boyfriend?" she got straight to the point, I figured someone would notice.
"You say it like i'm throwing myself at him" I laughed sarcastically.
"I know you want to get in between us to reach him because Mr.Hood don't want you no more" she pouted earning some peoples attention around us.
