You and your twin brother Eijirou had both been placed in UA's Hero Course, in class 1-A. And you had both gotten to know the same explosive ashy-blond, though in different ways. When he was with Eijirou, he was always Bakugou. He was angry, explosive, and unpredictable. But he was different when he was with you. He became calmer and more rational. When he was with you, he was Katsuki.
Despite your best efforts, you hadn't been able to keep yourself from falling in love with him. Your brother's best friend, and one of your closest friends. And you had been so happy when he expressed the same feelings.
You sighed as you looked down at your failed test. You'd placed fifteenth out of the whole class, and you were afraid that if you kept it up you'd be kicked from UA. You folded the paper up and put it into your backpack, looking over at your brother. He hadn't done much better, only placing one rank before you.
"Another one?" he asked, giving you a knowing glance. You both always tried to study together, which was probably why you were both doing awful. You both needed tutors, but thought if you put your two brains together you could work it out.
You were wrong.
"Hey y/n," Katsuki said from behind you, and you turned around to face him. You tried not to look down at his paper, but you couldn't help it. You knew he was one of the smartest kids in the class, so obviously he did well. He ended up ranking third. "I'm gonna tutor you from now on, Shitty-Hair over here isn't doing that good of a job."
Eijirou's eyes widened. "Hey!" He looked at you, then back at Katsuki. "Can you tutor me too?"
The ashy-blond shrugged his shoulders. "If you pay me."
"No fair!" your brother cried out. "Why will you tutor her for free but not me? Just do us together!"
You looked at Katsuki and blushed a little bit. You'd developed a crush on him throughout the year, and the idea of getting to spend that little bit of extra time with him excited you. You loved your brother, but you wanted a chance to get this one-on-one time with Katsuki. "I think we'd get distracted by each other," you said, turning to your brother.
Eijirou sighed, rolling his eyes. "Fine, we can be separate. But why do I have to pay and she doesn't?"
Katsuki looked at the redhead from the corner of his eye. "I never said she was getting them for free. She and I are gonna discuss payment."
You bit the inside of your cheek to keep from frowning. You didn't have very much money, the reason you'd never gotten a tutor was because you couldn't afford one.
At this point, the bell rang for lunch and everybody stood up.
"y/n, walk with me," Katsuki said as he slung his backpack over his shoulder. "Shitty-Hair, go talk to Kaminari."
You tried to hide another blush as you nodded. You waved goodbye to your brother and followed Katsuki out of the classroom, down the hall. But, you were going away from the lunch room. "Where are we going?" you asked, struggling to keep up with his quick strides.
Once you turned into an empty hallway, he stopped and leaned against the wall. "You don't have to give me money for the tutoring."
You sighed in relief. "I really can't thank you enough. I'm afraid if I keep getting bad scores they'll kick me out."
He nodded. "You're the only person I can actually tolerate here, so I'm gonna help you out."
You chuckled. "What about my brother?"
