**A/N hey guys! Been a long time since I wrote in this book. I recently started watching My Hero Academia and Bakugou is my husband so I'll probably write a few about him, so be on the watch for that ;)
In this imagine, your quirk is: Ruby! When you bleed, your blood becomes solid rubies that you can manipulate into any form you wish!
You looked around frantically. You had so little time, and so few resources around you. Your Quirk was useless unless you injured yourself first, enough to draw blood. Your breath caught in your throat as you looked around, all of the other students were already fighting. But there were so many more villains than students, you were outnumbered heavily.
You noticed two villains running at you from opposite sides, and your fight-or-flight reflex kicked in. You ran forward, where neither of them was coming from, and looked around horrified. You saw your boyfriend, Bakugou, fighting off a villain, but when he noticed you he quickly brought the fight in your direction. You met him halfway and stood beside him. "Help!" you cried out.
He was able to take his attention from the villain for one second, and punched you across the face. "Be careful," he said, just loud enough for you to hear.
A small trickle of blood came down from your nose, and you grinned. It was all you needed. You solidified it into a sharp ruby crystal as you ran to fight your own villain, and you dragged the pointed tip down your arm. The large gash you created bled instantly, and you used your Quirk to make it into a ruby staff for you to fight with.
You turned just in time, to see one of the villains from before charging at you again. Once they were in range, you raised your staff and struck the masked villain on the head, then kicked their legs out from under them. The take-down didn't last long, though, and within a second they were back on their feet.
You swung your staff again, but they caught in in their hand. You forcefully pulled it back to yourself, watching as it slid out of their grip and sliced their hand open.
"Didn't your mother ever tell you not to play with sharp things?" you said mockingly, a smirk on your face. You planted the staff into the ground as the villain charged at you again, and you jumped into the air and extended your feet. Your feet made contact with their face, and you used it as a platform to complete your flip, pulling your staff out of the ground in the process. When you looked up, their costume was ripped with a slice down the neck. Nothing lethal, but enough to leave a nasty scar.
"You bitch!" the villain yelled at you. You raised your staff to strike again when, fast as lightning, an explosion went off right where their head was. You watched in awe as they fell to the ground unconscious, and your boyfriend flew by using his explosions to move. You chuckled quietly to yourself before moving on yourself to your next villain. As you turned yourself around, staff in hand, your eyes widened as you saw a horrific, large black creature running towards you, and stood helpless as its fist smashed into you.
--
You didn't know how long it had been when you woke up in the hospital. Your body was writhing in pain, and your head was pounding. The pounding only intensified with every beep of a nearby machine. You slowly tried to turn your head, but could only move it about an inch before the pain became too much.
You blinked a couple of times to clarify your vision, and your stomach dropped when you realized you were in a hospital. You had no idea how you got there, the last thing you remembered was...getting punched by that creature. How long had it been? Had all of your friends made it out of the USJ? Was Bakugou okay? Were the villains defeated?
A door opened, and you saw a woman in a white coat poke her head into the room. She smiled at you and said, "You're awake."
You opened your mouth to speak, but no words came out. Where would you begin? You wanted to know about your friends, but you also really just needed to know about Bakugou. Your heart sped up at the thought that something had happened to him, and the woman's eyes widened. She ran over and put a syringe into an IV that lead into your arm.
"We were afraid you'd get nervous when you remembered," she said as your heart slowly began calming down. "This is just to keep you calm, if your heart is beating like that it might be counter-productive."
You wanted to nod, but moving hurt too much. "My...friends..."
She put the now-empty syringe back on the table. "I haven't heard much, it's only been a few hours. All I know is that Pro Hero President Mic brought you in, and there's been a boy waiting in the lobby for you for about four hours."
A boy? Maybe it was - it had to be! Bakugou was okay! You looked at the woman and, despite the circumstance, smiled. You were just glad he was okay. "Can I...see...him?"
The woman nodded. "Let me go get him." She walked back out the door she came in through, and you let out a small sigh of relief. If there had been major casualties, it would have been alerted immediately. Hopefully, all of your friends were okay.
You didn't have too much time to think about it, though, because the door was slammed open and Bakugou stepped inside. His face didn't show it, but you could see the relief in his eyes.
"I told you to be careful," he said plainly as he pulled a chair beside your bed and sat down.
"Sorry..." you said. You would have made a snide comment back to him, but it hurt too much.
There was a moment of silence before either of you spoke again.
"You feel okay?" he asked. He looked you over quickly, before raising his hand to the bed and taking your hand in his, being careful not to touch the pulse-monitor on your index finger.
You chuckled a bit, and the light vibrations sent pain throughout your body. "No," you said, yet you smiled.
"You got lucky this time." He raised his other hand to run his index finger down your cheek, but it felt rough and ragged. Was there a scab there? "Your rubies made you a barrier when that thing hit you, but your staff went into your stomach. And some of the barrier scratched you up pretty good."
You closed your eyes. If you were beaten and destroyed, you didn't want him to see you like that.
"I think it makes you look badass," he said, smirking lightly. "And I saw your fighting. Taking after me a bit?"
You rolled your closed eyes. Your head hurt slightly less when they weren't open, probably because of the light. "You wish."
You heard the shuffling of his chair, and opened your eyes to see him re-positioning it so he could lean his head back against the wall. "Go...home..." you said.
He shook his head. "You're in no condition to argue with me so you better just listen to me, stupid. Then again, when do you? That's how you ended up here."
You sighed lightly. "Oh, Katsuki," you said with a smile. "What...am I going...to do...with...you?"
He smirked. "We can discuss that once you're healed. For now, get some rest."
Your smile grew as you closed your eyes. You squeezed his hand lightly as you both slowly drifted off into sleep.
