Today is the first day that I am practicing with the band. I am so excited that all throughout school I kept bouncing my leg up and down and got a few nasty glares from some of my classmates.

Lunch today was awful but really funny. The Queen Bitch finally graced us with her presence and all she got in return was a loss in fake popularity. She again tried to pick on Blake, but Elizabeth and I put her in her place if you know what I mean.

Now it's hours later and I'm at Drew's house. We were at Alex's house last time because I already knew where he lived and we didn't need any of the equipment anyway. Drew has a basement with a ton of really cool stuff. He has all of the band's instruments and the sound system, a foosball table, a huge 70 inch flat screen TV, and the best thing he has is a slushy machine! I mean how awesome is that?

Drew is the scariest looking out of all of us. He is really tall, probably around 6'3", and buff. He has some tattoos on his left forearm and the back of his right shoulder. The one on his forearm is a fiery phoenix and the one on his shoulder is a phrase written in Latin, but I don't know what it means. His blonde hair is cut really close to his head.

Connor is around 6'1", he has a lean build, and a piercing in his right eyebrow, his brown hair hangs all of the way down to the middle of his neck.

All of the guys decided that since I'm the new lead singer and they are pretty much starting over, that it was time to change the name of the band. We are going to talk about that at the end of practice though so we can rest and eat at the same time. Right now we are deciding on what songs we should do cover of and post them on youtube to start building a fan base.

"I think we should do King for a Day by Pierce the Veil." Drew suggests.

"That's actually not a bad idea! But I hope you know that if we do end up doing that song that I won't be able to do all of that screaming. I mean I could try but it might not turn out so well." I comment.

"I would actually love to hear you try to do those screaming parts!" Connor laughs.

"Maybe we could do My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark by Fall out Boy." Alex says.

"Oh my gosh I love that song! Yup we are totally doing it!" I decide.

"Okay two down three to go!" Drew exclaims.

"We could do a punk version of Royals by Lorde. I think we could pull it off." I say.

"Three down two to go." Alex says still keeping count.

"Maybe we should bring back an old song. Have you guys heard of the Red Hot Chili Peppers?" Connor asks.

"Yea my dad loves them!" Alex blurts.

"Yup I've listened to them. Do you think we should do Snow by them but change it into my key?" I ask.

"That's actually the song I was thinking about." Connor says.

"So now four down and one to go!" I say happily.

"Oh I know! Whyyawannabringmedown by Kelly Clarkson. That song is intense!" I say enthusiastically.

"Now we just have to practice those five songs, take videos if them, and upload them on youtube." Alex says.

First we did My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark because all of us were familiar with it and figured that it would be the best one to start out with.

After about half an hour we got it down pat so we moved on to Whyyawannabringmedown.

That song also took half an hour. We then moved on to Snow, so far that one is my favorite because it sounds really cool. It took forty-five minutes because we had to change the key to fit my vocal range.
