Part Twenty-four

Betty's POV

At around nine thirty I grabbed the car keys. "Hey what are you doing?" My mom asked. "I wanted to go get a few things." I told her. "Okay. How long do you think you'll be gone?" She asked. "About thirty or fourty-five minutes." I said. "Okay I'll probably be asleep in like thirty minutes." I nodded. "Okay mom." I said and left. I got in the car and sighed. This is gonna be a long drive.

I wanted to drive straight to Riverdale and since it was sorta late I knew could do that. I knew it would take me about thirty to get there, but I didn't care.

When I finally got there it was almost ten. I sighed as I was about to knock on Veronica's door. I know we saw each other all the time, but I really want to see her now. I was about to knock when the door opened. "Betty?" She said and hugged me. I smiled. "Hi." She pulled out of the hug. "What the hell are you doing here?" She asked. "I got away from my mom." I told her. "Wait what?" "Well I told her I wanted to grab somethings, but I came here instead." She smiled even more. "What if she caught you?" "How would she I'm here?" She nodded. "Well yea, but--" I cut her off by kissing her I didn't want to talk no more. She pulled away and pulled me inside. She shut the door and I push her against the wall. I kissed her again. I slowly started to put my hand up her shirt. I wrapped my arm around her back. I pulled away and pulled off my shirt and she did to. I bit my lower lip and kissed her again.

She pulled away and we walked upstairs. I pushed her on the bed and got on top of her. I started kissing her again. She put her arms around my back and unhooked my bra and threw it across the room. I moved and layed next to her. I slowly put my hand down her shorts and underwear. She kissed me again. I started to slowly rub her clit. She let out small moans. I pulled away and smiled a little. She looked at me for a second then kissed me again. She slowly started to move her hips with my hand. I put two fingers inside of her.

After about a minute I took my hand out of her shorts and started to take them off. When both her shorts and underwear where off and kissed again.

I woke up at around three o'clock in the morning. I quickly got up not wanting to wake Veronica up. I started getting dressed. I started walking out of the door when Veronica said something. "What are you doing?" I sigher and looked back at her. "It's three A.M. so I have to get going." I told her. She got up and walked towards me. "Ugh! This is bullshit." I laughed a little. "It is. I just have to get going because it takes two hours to get there." She looked down then back up at me and sighed. "Oh okay. I love you." I smiled. "I love you too." I said and gave her a little kiss then left.

I got back at around five thirty-ish. I slowly and quietly went inside, but to my surpise my mom was up and looking straight at me. "Shit." I said quietly to myself. "Where were you?" She asked. "I uhh was umm--" I stopped. "You went back to Riverdale didn't you." I opened my mouth a little to say something, but didn't. It was quiet. "Well did you?" She asked. I rolled my eyes. "I mean yea." "Now why on earth would you do that?" "Oh I don't know to see my girlfriend." She sighed dissapointingly. "Betty, you can't go back there." "Why not mom?" I asked. "You just can't." She said. I rolled my eyes. "You know I can keep going back and I will no idea why you don't want me to go so I guess I'm good." I told her. "Yea okay we are going further away from that place." Well I fucked up.

As we started driving again. I still have no idea what's going on. I grabbed my phone and texted Veronica.

Veronica's POV

I walked to school ALONE. It was boring. I was lonely too. When I got to school archie came upto me. "Hey have you seen Betty?" He asked. I shook my head. "No, not today. Have you?" I asked. He shook his head. "No, she said her and her mom left for a bit and that they would be home soon, but they never did come home." I sighed. "I don't know." I have no idea if I'm lying or not. "Well I have to get to class Archie." I said and walked off.

My phone buzzed as I sat down. I pulled my phone and saw I had a text from Betty.

Hey! Guess what!

What?

We are moving again!

Wait really? Why?

Well my mom She was up when I got back.

I knew you'd get in trouble.

Well the only thing she us doing is trying to keep me away from Riverdale and I think I know why.

What? Why do you think?

I'll tell you once I figure it out.

Oh alright I have to go I'm in school. Talk to you later?

Yea, later.

I put my phone away and the Bell rung. As it rand Kevin came and sat next to me. "Have you seen Betty?" He asked. "Why does everyone think I know where Betty?" I asked him. "Well you are her girlfriend." "Just because I'm her girlfriend doesn't mean I know where she is." "Wait did you two break up or something?" I looked at him. "Hell no." "Okay sorry." He said and looked at him papers.

Betty's POV

"Mom I have a question." I said and looked at her. "If it's about what's going on or where are we going--" I cut her off. "No, no, it's not that." I said calmly. "Well what is it?" She asked. "You know what? Nevermind it's not that important." I told her. "No, what is it?" I sighed. "I said it's nothing." I said and looked out of the window. She kept talking I just didn't pay attention.

We stopped a few hours later. It was about seven thirty now (A.M.). I wasn't paying attention so I have no idea where we are. "Mom where uhh where are we?" I ask. "We are in Toledo." She said. "How did we get here in only a few hours?" I asked. "Were you sleeping?" "No, I just wasn't paying attention." "Oh okay." She said. "Are we stopping here?" I asked. "Yea till tomorrow." I looked at her confused. "Wait till tomorrow why are we still going places? Are you trying to get me away from Veronica?" I said. Which is what I was going to ask earlier. It was quiet for a minute. "Mom? Hello?" "Well I uhh I mean umm--" I rolled my eyes. "Wow mom. You really liked her what happened?" I asked. "I don't think she's a good influence on you." I scoffed. "What?! Mom why is that any reason to take me out of town?" "I want you to stay away from her." I looked put of the window again. "And I wanna stay away from you." I mumbled. "What was that?" I looked at her. "Nothing just this is really annoying." I told her. She didn't say anything. I grabbed my phone and texted Veronica.

Veronica

Well I figured it out and I was right.

Figured what out?

Oh right I didn't tell you. I thought my mom was taking me out of Riverdale to keep me away from you and I was right that's exactly what she's doing.

Wait what? Why?

Idk I'm going to figure it out.

Where are you now?

We are in Toledo. She said we are stopping now, but she's still driving.

Omg I'm confused!

Yea, me to. She just going to keep me away from you and I can't do anything right now.

Well I'm still in classes so I have to go.

Right I forgot what day it was. Sorry for bothering you.

It's alright.

I put my phone in my lap and leaned my head on the window. It wasn't to long after that, that I fell asleep.
