Beronica (There story my way)

Part Seven

Betty's POV

When I got to my house both Veronica and Kevin walked me to my door. "Guys I'm fine really." I told them. "We know." Kevin said. I sighed. "Then why are you walking me up here it's like your making sure nothing else happens." I said. "That's exactly what were doing." Veronica said. I sighed and smiled. "Well thanks for looking out for me, but uhh-- " I said, but was interrupted by Veronica. "Oh and this." She said and kissed me. When she pulled away I smiled. "Wait is it official now!?" Kevin asked happily. "Well I mean yea." I said. "Yes." He said. Veronica and I looked at each other and laughed then looked back at Kevin. "Well I need to go." I said. "Okay. Kevin take me back to my house?" Veronica asked him. "Yea okay. Come on." They got in the car and left.

I went inside and saw my mother sitting on the couch. "Betty your home." She said. I shut the door. "Yea I am why?" I asked. "I was just a little worried you didn't text me on where you were." "Oh I'm sorry I forgot I was with Kevin and Veronica." I told her. "Oh okay." I looked at my phone. 5:30. I went my room and sat on the bed. "What am I gonna do for the next couple of hours." I said to myself.

I layed down not knowing what to do. I got up and went downstairs. "Hey mom I think I'm gonna go to Pop's." I told her. "Oh okay. I'll see you later I guess." She said. I went outside and I drove to Pop's.

When I got there is was quiet like always. Not a lot of people were there. "Hey Pop can I just get a vanilla milkshake please." I asked him. "Yea sure." He said. I went and sat down at a booth.

A couple of minutes later he came over and gave me the milkshake. "Thanks." I said. "Yea." He said and walked off. The bell rung meaning someone walked in I didn't turn to see who it was. I didn't know who they were till they came and sat in front of me. "We can't keep meeting out of nowhere." It was Archie. "Ugh what so you want Archie?" I asked. "Have you talk to your sister yet?" He asked. "No, you have parents and so does she." I told him. "We can't tell them!" He said leaning forward over the table. "And why not?" I asked. "They would split us up." "And why do I care about this?" I asked. "Well I love Joise, but I still love Veronica to." I just looked at him. "Wait then why did you fucking cheat on her for six months." I asked pissed off now. "I was being stupid." He told me. "Well it's to late cause she doesn't want you anymore." He leaned further over the table. "Wait how do you know that? Does she have somebody else." He asked. "I... I don't know. All I know is that she don't love you no more." I got and gave Pop some money and left.

When I got back to my house it was 6:00. I went to my room grabbed some clothes and took a shower. I can sometimes take longer showers when I need to think. So when I got out this time it was 6:45.

I went back to my room and layed down. My door opened again. "Are you going to bed?" My mom asked. "Yea probably." I said. "This early?" "Well I have nothing better to do so I guess so." "Oh okay night." "Night." I said. She shut the door and I got under the covers.

Veronica's POV

When I got to my house I texted my dad to get here now. He asked why. I told him just to come.

When he finally got here I was sitting in the sitting room. "You wanted to see me?" He asked sitting across from me. I looked up from my book and at him. "You paid someone to kidnap my bestfriend." I said. "I don't know what your talking about?" He sound so clueless. "That phsyco bitch who was dating Jughead. Yea she told me it was you who told her to do that. Did you tell her to pull a gun out on her?" "Now Veronica you have to listen--" I stopped him. "You did!? How my God daddy. Why would you do that?" I asked. He didn't say anything. "Did you know she actually shot a gun off at her." I told him. "No, I did not. Is she okay?" He asked. "Yes, she's at her house with her mother." He sighed. "Then I don't know why your getting mad at me." I rolled my eyes. "You know exactly why. Now I want you to leave." I told him. He got up. "I'm not going--" "Leave!" I yelled. He walked over to the door and left. I locked it behind him. I can not believe him.

The next morning
Betty's POV

I woke up at five again. I forgot to change my alarm back to 5:45. I went downstairs and grabbed a granola bar. I threw away my trash and sat on the couch. My mom came downstairs at around 5:15. "Your up early again." She said. "Yea I forgot to change my alarm back to what it was before." I told her. "What are you doing up early?" "I was going to the register early today. I need to finish up somethings." She said. "Do you want me to come?" I asked. "No, it's Thursday you can come after school or tomorrow." She said. "Oh okay." I said. She left at around 5:30.

I just sat on the couch for the next hour. At around 6:15 there was a knock at the door. I got up. "Who is it?" I asked. No answer. "I said who--" I stopped when I saw Veronica at the door. "Oh it's you sorry." I said. She smiled. "It's fine. May I come in?" She asked. I moved so she could come in. "What are you doing here?" I asked as I shut the door. "I was going to walk to school and I didn't want to walk alone." She said. I smiled a bit. "Or maybe you don't want me to walk by myself." I said. She walked over to me. "Yes, that may be true, but it's only because I'm worried about you." "Well thanks for worrying about me." I said. "Your welcome." She said and kissed me. I kissed back, but pulled away a few seconds later. "She something wrong?" She asked. "No, it's just is this going to be a quiet relationship even if Kevin knows." I asked. "Knowing Kevin it's a 50/50 chance he told someone." She said. "Yea, your right." "Well do you want it to be a quiet relationship?" She asked. I sighed. "I don't know yet. Cause my mom doesn't even know anything. Not even that Jughead and I broke up." I said. "Well we can keep it quiet for as long as you need." I smiled. "Thanks." I said and gave her a light kiss. "Well we can stay here and just talk probably for the next fifthteen minutes." She said. "Okay." We just talked for a while.
