Part Fourty-one

Two months later
Veronica's POV

"I can't believe we've technically been together for over a year." Betty said. "Technically? What do you mean?" I asked as we were walking into Pop's. We were meeting Archie and Jughead there. "Well we were together for seven months then we broke up for a couple of weeks then got back together and now look were we are." She said. I smiled. "True." We sat down and waited for then to show up.

They got here a few minutes later.

A: Why are you guys always here before us?
B: Because we are.
J: You two are weird.
V: It's also because Betty makes us leave early.
J: Makes sense
B: Hey rude!
V: It's true though
B: I know.

We all laughed a little at this.

V: So did you guys need us cause Archie asked us to be here today?
A: Oh right. I'm having a party tonight at my house and it's just going to be us and Cheryl and Toni and Kevin.
B: Oh great
V: You do realize you could've just sent this to us over text, right?

Betty hit my arm. "What?" I whispered. She rolled her eyes and smiled a little.

A: Yea, well I just thought we could meet up again.
B: Oh cool.

We talked for the next hour or so.

J: Okay, I gotta get going.
V: Okay

He left.

B: We better go to.
V: Yea okay

We started walking out of the door.

V: Hey Archie.
A: Yea
V: When's the party?
A: Tonight, my place, ten o'clock
V: Okay thanks.

We left.

"I'm so bored!" Betty said and flopped on the bed. "What time is it?" She asked. "It's eight thirty." I told her. "And he said ten right?" "Yep." I said and sat layed next to her. She put her face in the pillow. "You tired?" I asked. She lifted her head up. "No." She said and layed it back down into the pillow. "You seem like it." She turned onto her back. "I'm just bored." I smiled and kissed her. She kissed back then sat up. She slowly put her hand up my shirt and started to take it off. We then heard a knock at the door. I pulled away. "Oh no we are not starting this again." I said. She smiled and we got up and went downstairs. I went and opened the door. My parents again. "And you guys are here for?" I asked. "To talk." My mom said. I sighed. "About?" "We need you..." She stopped when Betty came and stood next to me. "And you?" I nodded. "To move out." She finished. "Why?" I asked. "Because we are moving back here." My dad said. "I thought you kicked him out of the house in New York." I said to my mom. "I did, but we are here now." She said. "Oh cause that makes sense." I said sarcastically. "You need to be out in two weeks." I sighed and rolled my eyes. "Fine!" I said and looked at Betty who was just looking at the ground. I grabbed her hand and we walked upstairs. I left the front door open because my parents were still standing there. "Do we really have to find a house in two weeks?" I said and sat on the edge of my bed. I sighed with a little bit of stress. She started rubbing my back. "Well we can find one." She said reassuringly. She looked at her and smiled a little. "I love you so much." I said and kissed her. There was a knock at the door and I quickly pulled away. "Come in!" It was my mom. "Yes?" I said. "I'm sorry about earlier. It was your father's idea about making you move out." She told me. "It's fine just a little stressful even if it is two weeks away." She sat on the other said of me. I rubbed my eyes. I looked towards my mom who head was looking behind me and I looked at Betty who was doing the same thing. "What's going on?" I said and they quickly sat up. "What are you talking about?" Betty said putting her hands on her jacket pocket. I only noticed this cause it looked suspic- ious. "Uhh.... nothing.... I guess it was just me." I told them. "Well I'm gonna go." My mom said. "Okay." I said and ahe walked out of the room leaving the door cracked. I looked at Betty. "It's nine thirty." She said. "I guess we can leave here in fifthteen minutes." I said. She nodded. "Yea."
