The truck flipped. Jess stopped I got out and ran up to the truck. Jeff was crawling out the driver's window.

" Fuck!" He yelled " I need my phone Jess will you please take me to the house to get my phone?" He asked her

" Ya I guess." She answered.

We took him home and he got a friend of his to come to take him back. They called the police to report it stolen so he wouldn't lose his job. Jess and I left. We stopped at the store and there was Andrew.

" Hey did you see the dump truck?" he asked

" Ya got a mess on the road. He was chasing us." Jess said

" What?" He asked his face scrunched in frustration. " Chasing y'all in the dump truck? What if you had to stop quick he'd have ran right over this car." He said getting angry.

" Ya I know. He thought you were going to my house with Jayla." Jess told him.

" Well the jokes on him then because I wasn't but I am now. Just Incase he wants to show his ass some more." He stated as if it was a fact.

" Well that is if it's OK with you."  He said looking at Jess

" Fine with me." She told him and he crawled into the car.

" Sure I don't mind." I said even though I wasn't asked

" I knew you wouldn't." He replied with a wink to which I rolled my eyes.

On the way back to Jess's house we see blue lights in the rear view mirror.

" Shit"  Andrew said from the back seat. " I'm going to jail."

" What why?" I asked.

" Mama let me get beer from the store yesterday she was gonna pay for it but she forgot and they took out a warrant for me. But Jayla I swear mama said she'd pay for it and I could pay her back when I got paid. He said as fast as he could. He pulled out his wallet and was looking around frantically. I knew what he was doing and made a stupid decision. I stuck my hand out to him. He looked at me like I was crazy.

" Give it." I said. He put it in my hand and I tucked it in the waist of my pants and pulled my shirt down just as the officer stepped to the window.
    Apparently Jess didn't come to a complete stop at the stop sign. He got everyone's name well Andrew gave Michaels name and birthday. The officer gave Jess a warning and sent us on our way.  

When we got to the house the phone was ringing as we walked in.
" Hello?" Jess asked.

" Here, it's Jeff." she said handing me the phone. 

" What do you want? Haven't you done enough tonight?" I asked.

" Why did you go to him? Are you fucking him? Is that what it is?" Jeff yelled into the phone.
I had had enough why does it always come down to that? But even if I was it wasn't anything to him. I went to his house to see his kids to be honest it had nothing to do with him. He'd cheated on me you don't go back from that. If you can't say no now why would I believe you could the longer we've been together. I didn't and I'm not big on wasting my time.

" What if I did?" I said back

" Oh so you have then." He stated like he had a right to. I was so mad I didnt care what he thought anymore.

" Ya, I fucked him what are you gonna do about it.? We are done." I said and hung up. I walked back into the house and saw Andrew standing on the doorway. I handed Jess the phone back and went to get Jax back to sleep it had been along night and I was tired.
