~~~Logan's POV~~~
My heart was racing as i waited for her response.
"I.. Well... Sort of.. Or i did anyway.. I know that nothing will come of it and that's okay. Plus,  i kinda fancy someone else now.."
My heart stopped and my head snapped in her direction. I stared into her beautiful emerald orbs. The moment our eye's connected,  I knew that the person she fancied, was myself. I'm not sure how long that went on, but as if on instinct, i closed the gap between us. I couldn't have asked for a more prefect kiss. I wanted to be caught in that moment for the rest of my life. As we separated i noticed a deep blush upon her cheeks before she quickly hid behind her hair. 'God she is perfect.'
Her hand slowly rose as she gently placed a finger on her bottom lip. I moved the hair from her face and she looked up at me. I couldn't help but smile. My heart skipped a beat seeing her smile back at me. Somehow i had lucked out, the beautiful girl before me, the one I'd give anything for to make her smile once,  fancied me.  And i didn't intend to blow it.
~~~F.F. Lana's POV~~~
I couldn't sleep. My mind kept replaying the events of this afternoon. I placed my hand on my chest as i stared at the ceiling.

"I have this idea."
I looked at him curiously.
"Well.. I want to make you mine, but i want to do it right. There's still a few days of summer break left and..."
He looked at me, a determined look clear on his features.
"I want to have a date day. I will plan it all out,  and if you have a good time... Maybe, if you want, we could make it official."
His tone changed to that of a nervous one by the end of what he was saying. I placed my hand on his and sent him a smile.
"Okay. I can't wait to see what you have planned."

A blush crept up to my cheeks again at the thought. Tomorrow was the day. Logan was so excited he just couldn't wait. This would be my first date. Heck,  that was my first real kiss. My blush deepened as i smiled gently. Eventually i drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to the birds singing outside my window and the sun shining in on me. I decided to draw a bath and get ready to start my day. Since today was the day Logan and I would be going on our date i decided upon a light blue dress with small sleeves and white polka dots adorned with a bow at the waist.

Just as I'd finished getting ready there was a knock on the door. I opened it to reveal Logan who had the biggest smile plastered on his face.

A blush appeared on his face as he took in the beauty of the girl before him. I giggled and returned his grin with a sweet smile. Logan regained his confidence and extended his hand.
"Ready love?"
I nodded and placed my hand in his. His touch on my skin was electric. He lead me outside and we followed a small path through a meadow close by.
"Where are we going?"
He kept his focus on the path as he replied.
"It's a surprise."
Suddenly he stopped and turned to face me,  a huge smile still present on his features.
"Do you trust me?"
I nodded nervously. He stepped behind me,  covering my eyes before guiding me down the path again. As we went further along the path i started to smell sulfur. He removed his hands and crouched us down. I stared at the sight before me in awe. We were just feet away from one of my favorite magical creatures. Before us stood an Antipodean Opaleye. I watched as the dragon eyed the man before it. I could have sworn i recognized that man. We watched the exchange of communication between the two for quite some time.
'Why does that man seem so familiar...?'
I was jerked out of my thoughts as the dragon began to fly off. I hadn't noticed the boy beside me staring adoringly as i watched it disappear into the sky. I turned to him grinning like a child.
"How did you know??"
He rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled nervously.
"Well, I really wanted this to be a summer to remember so i wrote your father a while back and asked him what would make it perfect,  he told me he had never seen you happier then when the two of you saw the Antipodean Opaleye in Romania. So i had my brother arrange something."
I hugged him tightly and kissed his cheek.
"This date's not over yet! Come on!”
This time he asked his father to drive us down to a little diner in town.  We ordered our food and chatted while waiting. After our meal we ended up at the Theater. They had Casablanca playing tonight.
~~~Logan's POV~~~
I couldn't believe how absolutely nervous i was this whole date. My heart was racing and my hands were shaking. We sat side by side as the movie played. If you asked me to recap it,  i couldn't for a moment. No matter how much i tried,  i couldn't keep my eyes off of Lana. I nervously wrapped my arm around her shoulder and let out a small sigh of relief when i felt her lean her head onto me. I had never felt so terrified yet in absolute bliss in all my life. I couldn't help but wonder if she felt the same way. I closed my eyes and focused on breathing to calm my nerves. The sweet smell of vanilla filled my senses. I glanced back down at the girl in my arms. A small smile spread across my lips as i saw how content she looked. As the movie came to an end we exited the Theater and began walking back to my house. We were almost there when she stopped and looked at me. I turned to look at her,  curious as to why she stopped. She stepped closer,  face unreadable.
'I-is she upset? Did i do...'
My thoughts were cut off by the feeling of her soft velvet lips on mine. The world seemed to stand still when our lips connected. That is,  until it started to rain. We burst out laughing and she grabbed my hand as we ran home. When we arrived I handed her a clean towel and kissed her forehead before wishing her good night. The day could not have been more perfect.
