"I-it is a lovely photo," I stuttered nervously as I stared up at the Alpha in front of me.
"Don't have to be so nervous," the man chuckled, "I won't bite."
"B-but you're the Alpha."
"I am indeed," he nodded, "but I will not hurt my future Luna."
"You know..?"
"I've always known," he smiled and walked off.
I furrowed my eyes as I shook my head then continued my search for Sapphire. I looked around the whole upstairs of the house and she was nowhere to be seen so I jogged back downstairs when I heard Sapphire's infectious giggle so I headed in that direction.
"Saphy, quiet down," an older woman told the little girl, her voice full of humour. I smiled at the sound of the two of them and then realised that the woman must be Sapphire's mother. I walked towards the voices and found Sapphire and her mother running around chasing each other in the living room, laughter filling the room.
"Blair, Blair, help me!" Saph giggled and ran straight in to my arms, to which I rolled my eyes and lifted her up, balancing her on my hip, "mummy, this is Blair, she's gonna be the new--"
"The new Luna? So I've heard," she nodded towards her daughter and walked towards me, her eyes raking over me; a sense of disgust in them.
I put Saph down and she scurried out of the room, leaving me and her slightly scary mum alone to talk. I'd pretty much managed to get rid of my fear, I guess, of new people as I knew I was accepted in to this pack as I was going to be the new Luna so they wouldn't dare touch me in any way. Not with Riley as their future Alpha anyway.
"Have you always known I was going to be the future Luna as well, or did your husband tell you that?" Woah, where did that come from?
"My husband told me," she eyed me sceptically then turned on her heels and strutted off down the hall, probably to find her daughter and husband, maybe even Riley, but for now, I had to find him.
Riley? I mind linked him and walked around the living room, humming to myself.
Soon enough, a pair of arms snaked around my waist, causing me to jump up in surprise.
"You called me?" Riley's voice rang in my ears, sending chills down my neck.
"I met your parents earlier."
"Oh.." his face went pale as he spun me around to face him, "my mother... how was she?"
I searched his eyes for an emotion I couldn't find, "she didn't look happy that an Omega was to be taking her place as Luna--"
"No, she wasn't. "

LobisomemI couldn't do it anymore. I couldn't run any further. My aching paws pounded against the hard ground of the forest as I ran further and further from my packs territory. I looked behind my wolf and saw about five other wolves including a giant black...
