"P..Payton?" I stuttered, stepping back a little in hopes to get away from him. "Dante," I corrected myself quickly, "what are you doing? Y..you need to stop this.."
"I don't stop until I get what I want," he whispered huskily. His canines has pushed through and were now violently on show as he grabbed my waist roughly, pulling me in until I collided with his body. I froze, unable to do or say anything. It was as if everything had completely frozen in time apart from Payton getting closer and closer to my marking spot. My mind had gone completely blank and I had no idea what to do. There was no way I could get myself out of this death grip because he was too strong for me, and even after a week I was still feeling incredibly weak. I couldn't mind link Riley because he was busy and I didn't want to disturb him...but I guess that was my only option.
Riley, I need your help, I rushed.
Not right now babe, you know I'm busy. He sounded frustrated, surely not with me though. I panicked as my eyes flickered around and then back to Dante.
Payton.. Dante.. Clearing.. Help!
Payton's canines were getting dangerously close to my neck and I felt them graze my skin when a gush of cold air swept past me and loud growls were heard. Riley was in full wolf form and was tackling Payton.
"Riley!" I screamed, "you'll kill him!" I know what Payton done was bad but in a way, it wasn't him doing it. He couldn't control his wolf. He didn't have a mate yet and I know how much that hurts.
Riley's head snapped towards me and then back at Payton and he backed up a little. I walked over to the two males and watched Payton carefully. His eyes were back to normal and I knew that he was himself again. He looked up at me apologetically and I held out my hand to help him up, offering a gentle smile. He took my hand gently and pulled himself up.
"I'm so sorry, Blair." He quickly apologised. "I didn't mean too... I.. I couldn't control him.. Please forgive me," he begged and grabbed my shoulders gently.
"Get off her!" Riley growled. He pushed Payton off me and frantically checked me over. "Are you okay, baby?" his voice was laced with worry.
"I'm fine," I nodded, completely ignoring the nickname he gave me.
"Your neck." his eyes went wide and locked on my neck.
I furrowed my eyebrows and lifted my hand up to my neck. I felt a stinging sensation in my neck and winced. Crimson red blood stained my fingers, "how bad is it?"
"It's not healing." He stated.
uh-oh.
Nelly,? Nell are you okay?
I.. I feel really weak.. Nelly mumbled helplessly.
Now that I think about it, so do I..
I could feel my eyelids growing heavy and someone shaking me. I hadn't even realised I'd fallen to the floor.
"Blair, someone continued to shake me, "Blair, baby stay with me!"
But I'd already let the darkness take me.
.
"Is she going to be okay?" a male voice asked.
All I could hear was voices but for some reason that particular voice stood out to me.
"We'll find out when she wakes up," another voice said, then there were footsteps, and then a door shut.
I tried opening my eyes but my eyelids felt unusually heavy so I soon gave up with that. I then tried wiggling my fingers and moving my whole hand but my entire body felt stiff as if I couldn't move it whatsoever.
