Chapter Seventeen

Recap:
A couple of hours later the door opened again.

"Blair? Is that you?"

"Kacper...?" I muttered in disbelief. I heard the door close and then I was engulfed in a hug.

"Blair, I'm so sorry for everything. And I heard about what happened and I;m so glad you're okay. I know you lost your memory and I want to do everything I can to help you remember."

"Okay, no." I pushed him off me a little, "one: how did you hear about what happened? And two: you don't want to help me with my memory, you want to tell me a bunch of lies to cover up for what you actually done to me. I know, Kacper. I know everything."

"You--you know? E-everything?" He stuttered, his face immediately turning pale as he processed what I had just said to him.

"Mhm," I hummed and crossed my arms over my chest.

"How?" He muttered in disbelief, his face screwed up in confusion.

"You tell me," I scoffed, "you're the one who seems to know everything here."

"Look B, I'm sorry," he apologised, causing me to roll my eyes. Bullshit. I thought to myself. "I'm sorry for everything that I did and said to you. But I had no choice. I was under Wes' influence."

"And what, you couldn't stand up to him?"

He shook his head, "you weren't the only one who would get beaten. If I didn't do something he told me to do, he'd attack me." He admitted quietly, his bottom lip pulled firmly between his teeth.

My eyes grew wide as I took in the new information, my hand tightly clasping my mouth in surprise. "Why didn't you ever tell me? We could have done something!"

"No we couldn't!" He yelled, his hands clenched in to fists. "Sorry.. I wasn't allowed to talk to you like I am now. If I wanted to see you, I had to hurt you. There was always someone listening."

"And what about now?" I asked curiously, my eyes searching around for any possible cameras.

Kacper shook his head again, his facial expression softening, "we're okay right now. No ones around. I think they trust me now." I nodded along to what he was saying and unfolded my arms, letting them fall by my side once again.

"Kacper, I'm so sorry..." I whispered, my eyes beginning to fill with tears. I felt so deeply horrible for being so cold to my brother who I was once so close too. Finding out that he was being hurt by someone who he used to call his friend broke my heart. I lifted my arms up and wrapped them tightly around his neck, burying my face in the crook of his neck as I hugged him, taking him completely by surprise.

"I'm so sorry, Blair," he whispered in my ear as his arms wrapped around my waist tightly, pulling me as close as he possibly could. It felt so good to once again be in my brothers arms. Just like old times.

We stood in silence, enveloped in each other's arms, as if it were only us two in the world.

"I'm going to get you out of here." He said suddenly, breaking the comfortable silence that hung around us.

"How?" I asked as I pulled out of the hug and ran a hand through my hair, moving it out of my face.

Kacper shrugged and furrowed his eyebrows, something he used to do when he was deep in though.

"I've go an idea," he said shortly after, his bright eyes burning in to mine.

So this chapter is only about 600 words long so I apologise for it being so short. I'm on my mobile and this chapter wasn't planned so it's probably really bad. I've had major writers block with this chapter because I've had absolutely no idea what to write so I literally just pulled this chapter together in the last like, 20 minutes.

BUT I need some help. Right at the end, Kacper says that he has an idea. I don't know what that idea is yet, so if you have any ideas (and I'm really hoping that you do) please comment them below or I won't be updating for ages till I find one.
