MANAN- Strings of love

9. Contract.

 I don't know if I will be able to update on Wednesday. I am busy from Wednesday. As I promised I will update the chapters three days in a week so this the update.

 "This is the high level of insanity! First of all this is a loveless marriage, then the procedure to marry and then we need to be wedded permanently.!" I yelled cauing the lawyer to make irritated face. Manik, as usual had a neutral face. "Miss. Murthy I can understand, but these are the clauses, we cannot do a thing about it. 

1. You have to show those british people who will come here to inspect you to test you and Mr. Malhotra are real couple.

2. You have to stay in Mr. Malhotra's mansion.

3. You have to marry him for your whole life." He repeated those horrible statements annoying me again.

 "Why would those oldies go near british. Didn't they know that they ruled our country for 300 years?" I was so furious that even if that oldies existed I would make them to rewrite the contract or I would kill them again. "The elder Malhotra and Saxena were friends with a guy from Britain, who was the trustful, guy so his son will be inspecting you both." I wanted to kill all the people on this earth. Why only I face the situtions like this? "Was Aliya not gone through this?" I asked and he shook his head in a no.

 "Mr. James. Williams thought that Miss. Saxena loved Mr. Malhotra so he did not see. When he got to know about the unsuccessful marriage, he wants to test the girl who will marry Mr. Malhotra himself." I wanted to do one thing, either kill that james guy or to kill myself. "You may take your leave." Mr. Malhotra said to the lawyer. "So when are we going to marry me?" such a kind hearted man. Please note the sarcassam. I am still processing the fact of being illegitimate and here he is asking me to marry him!. 

 "I need some time Mr. Malhotra to think about it." I said throught gritted teeth. "Is 10 seconds enough?" I want to kill this man. Control Nandini if you go to jail you won't be able to eat pizza, pasta, gobimunchuri, golgappa..... Ok concentrate. "Can I get at least ten years?" I think in this, I can analyse all the possible things and tell him the result. "You have a day time to think and if the result is not positive I will be forced to take a drastic step." the tone he used was calm, but the hidden threat was visible. I nodded and headed to my house.

 I started counting all the merits.

1. Shikha will get a father figure.

2. Shikha will get a family.

3. Shikha will get a good environment.

4. She can have the love and affection of people.

5. She can get good education.

I started counting all the demerits.

1. Manik don't know how to behave with kids, hell he is not at all a normal person.

2. If Manik is like this, I cannot expect much from his family.

3. What if Manik's parents don't accept Shikha, as she is the daughter of illegitimate?

4. What if Manik denies to take the responsibility of Shikha?

 I don't know what to do? I entered the house only to notice Aliya in her own world. I sat beside her and kept a comforting hand on her shoulder. She turned to me and gave a sad smile. "Don't you have work?" I shook my head at her question. "Manik told me everything" her face paled and she looked down to hide her tears. "Why are you crying?" I asked to which she hugged me.

 "I am sorry. I always thought that my father was controlling, cunning, money minded and now I am introduced to his new side, that is cheating. I can't even imagine what your mother went through." she said sobbing and hiccuping. "I am sorry for giving you a broken childhood." she said again sobbing. 

 I pulled away from her. "Aliya you are not at fault, but glad to know you accept me. I need your help." I said and she looked at me "My mother faced the humiliation some years back and your mother dances at whatever your father says, so we need to make him regret. In this mission, I need your help." I said and she nodded wiping her tears. 

 "I also want to thank you for agreeing to marry Manik. He informed me that you will help him and us." wait, what? When did I agree? I wanted to ask, but the happiness Aliya was expressing through her words how she wanted a sister all her life melted my heart. If I did not marry Manik, he will definitely marry Aliya, but what about Druv and Aliya? At least they love each other, they need their happy ending. After so many years, I have got a sister and I am not going to destroy her happiness. I will marry Manik ,but I also need to make sure that Shikha has the best.

 My phone rang which showed boss but I will edit it to monster. "Yes, Mr. Malhotra." I said "Please come to the park outside your house." that's it he hung up on me. I need to teach him so many things like greeting each other. "Aliya I am going out, please take care of yourelf." I said and headed to the park.

  We sat on a bench and Mr. Malhotra started. "I never told this Aliya, but now it is really necessary. My great grandfather was a freedom fighter and when we got the freedom, he started the comapany of secretly manufacturing the weapons for army. Till now the government uses the weapons we manufacture and it is only known to the close ones. You may ask Why will I tell this to you? Th legacy includes this and this speacialy goes to my distant cousin Soha. Khuranna." he said and showed the pic of the woman in his cell.

 "She is cunning and can go to any level to get money. Her father is no less who came to get me and Soha married even knowing we are cousins." he stessed and showed a pic of a man, probanly Soha's father. "If you don't marry me, this will go to those who don't know anything called nationalism, patriotism but know only one thing, money." he said and now it is the question of nation.

 "Manik, I am proud of you. I will marry you, but I have a niece who needs love, care, affection. If you promise me that Shikha will be safe, then I don't have any problem in marrying you." I said only to receive a nod. I have to teach him how to smile.
