I am really sorry for not updating. I know I gave the information about double update and it starts from today.
Entering the secret factory involved a lot of secret. First Manik took me to a garage shop then he gave his car there, I thought there might be some problem in car but he kept car there and dragged me to a door from the garage. Inside that door there stood a lavish room with modern interiors which definitely costs a bomb.
I thought he was going to read some files but he removed a book from the shelf, I foolishly thought he was not reading file but he was going to read book. He was not o pening the book instead was doing something in the shelf. I took a look at it, it was a digital locking system.
As soon as he typed some things, the shelf was divided in to two parts and it gave away a passage to move. I was still collecting my jaws which was dropped to the ground by witnessing all this. I though these things happen only in James Bond movies.
He ushered me to move towards the room. I was about to scream thinking it to be a death room where I thought they will push me to the hot boiling water or acid just like the movies but it was like a cabin. Then I saw a man looking at me with confusion. Even I gave him my confused smile.
Then I saw the man looking towards his left, I looked at the direction to be greeted by a family photo of my family. I slowly made my way towards that photo. It was a photo taken after the birth of Shikha. Shikha's naming ceremony was held on that day. Mom decided it was the perfect moment to take a picture.
Even the always grumpy aka always poop face Abhi was smiling in it. Mom, Chikki and Chikkappa were seated in chair. Anna, Attige and Abhi at the backside of chairs. Me and She devil sat own holding Shikha in my hand.
"Nice to meet you Miss. Murthy." Someone said standing beside me. I turned to the man who stood now and had a smile. "Sorry, I am Pandit. Trilok. Me and your brother joined this company at the same time. " I smiled and he started telling me the tales of my brother and him in this cabin.
"Nandini!" Manik barged in calling me. He looked at both of us and came near me. "Hello Mr. Trilok, I think you already met my fiancé." Manik said keeping his hand on my back. I looked at him, he had a hard expression on his face. The once happy Mr. Trilok was now trying to mask his feelings.
"Manik, I think we should be going. Did you solve the issues?" to which h he nodded without looking at me and pulled me out of the cabin.
When we both seated on car I asked my clarifications. "What was that?" my question may have sounded foreign to him by his looks. "I mean what happened in Anna's cabin? Why are the things of Anna still in that cabin." I said and he took a sigh.
I waited but he didn't answer. " I asked you a question Manik." I said and he looked at me. "Fine, That Trilok is divorced for three times and he was trying to find his fourth wife. This is the rumour we are hearing so all the female staff maintain a distance and I was protecting you from him." his statement made my blood boil.
"I know how to protect myself . I have been doing this since Shikha was born. Thank you but no thank you, I can protect myself and I don't need your help." I said and turned my head to towards window.
"I didn't mean like that Nandini, your Anna and Trilok joined at the same time but Trilok never considered your Anna as partner. I was worried about your Anna as he was a gem to our company but he trusted Trilok too much. When your Anna died, we thought he would take his position but he denied saying that the position is only for your Anna and didn't allow anyone to remove any things from his cabin." Manik's explanation raised some confusions.
"I think he changed after Anna's death?" I asked but Manik chuckled hearing me. "Trilok is like fox not in work but he plays perfectly with other's life. So be careful." I just nodded to it. What more can I do?
"Do you know how to ride a cycle?" his question made me look at him as if he has gone mad. "Yes?" who doesn't know to ride a bicycle? "So...ah.... will you teach me?" for few minutes I was processing. "Don't you know how to ride a bicycle?" I wanted to still clarify that.
"Yeah, I mean no, I had learnt but I forgot to ride it." he said casually. I broke in to the roaring laughter. "See everyone forgets somethings." he said trying t convince me but my laughter couldn't be stopped. "You don't know how to ride a bicycle. Ha ha...." I clutched my stomach to stop myself but it was difficult.
"Shut up!" he screamed and I instantly stopped my laughing. "So, what is the reason you don't know how to ride a bicycle?" I asked him not to laugh further. "No one taught e how to ride. My parents were busy with business and I was always with nanny." Now guilt seeped in me. "I am sorry." I said and he just smiled and looked ahead.
"So tomorrow at five am you will start your training." I said and started browsing the cycle shops from where I can buy a cycle. "By the way why do you need to learn riding the bicycle?" I asked seeing the red cycle. "Yesterday Shikha asked me to teach her bicycle, I told her that she will start learning from next year so within one year you need to teach me bicycle." I was speechless. I never thought he would do all the things that I missed.
Everything I wanted to do with my father was done with my brother. There was always a difference. I just smiled at Manik and thanked god for giving this opportunity to Shikha.
