Hey all !

Ohkay, so another quick message to you peeps. I know I said that this chapter was going to be amazing, but due to not having so many ideas, I had to make this one not so amazing, so that I could add more stuff that I thought of today :D So I'm extremely sorry about that, but I can assure you that after you read the end part of this chapter that you'll be grasping those chairs of yours. :3

Anyways, the last chapter was .. awkward I guess. But that's just how it's meant to go, and if you think that this was going to be a steaming chapter .. ehh, then I'm sorry :D

Anyway, here it is!

Jenna's POV

I held on tightly to the glass of water in my hand. The power of the drink wasn't too strong, but still made me feel sleepy. I looked back at Yale who looked as though he might fall asleep any second. I frowned slightly, wondering what sort of stuff Max had put into the drink. I brought my glass to my nose and smelled it. And for some reason it smelled like something extremely familiar.

"Yale, you .. ohkay?" I whispered, crawling over to him. I nodded slightly and looked up at me.

"Why do I feel so .. weak?" he asked, trying his best to sit up. I looked at him, more tears forcing its way out of my eyes and down my cheeks.

"P-please don't hate me after I tell you this." Yale looked surprised, but nodded anyway.

"Max .. forced me to find a way to break up you and Abby. I think you know why of course, but he .." I trailed off as more tears slipped down my face, landing with a soft splat on the wooden floor. Yale brought a hand to my face, and brushed the tears away.

"So he asked you to spike my drink? Then what?" He asked, scratching his head. He picked up my still filled glass, and smelt it. I was surprised when he put it back down and laughed.

"He made you spike my drink with a couple sleeping pills?" I smiled, and shrugged.

"I guess so. He wanted you completely knocked out, so I could .." I gulped. "I guess you can figure the rest out yourself." Yale nodded, and I showed him the two texts I had gotten from Max. He frowned, and scratched his head again.

"He's setting me up, huh?" he whispered. I nodded, and put my phone away. I sighed, and fiddled with the ring on my finger.

"And we don't have much time to figure something out," I added. Yale nodded again, and tried his best to stand up, wobbling every now and again.

"We'll have to think of something quickly here," Yale announced, checking his phone for the time. "Because in this condition, I doubt we'll be able to get far." I stifled a laugh, and tried to get up as well. I plumped myself on Yale's bed, while he sat on his desk-chair.

Drumming my fingertips on the bedside table, I racked my brains trying to think of a plan to stop Max. It wasn't at all easy, and knowing Max, even though he lacked creativity in thinking of 'evil schemes', he still had a way of making things seem extremely difficult to get out of. I looked over at Yale who looked back at me with a clueless face.

"What's Max's main .. target?" I suddenly asked. Yale thought for a moment, shaking a a couple strands of hair away from his face.

"Me," he replied blankly. I bit my lip, not knowing what else to say. "As you know, he wants to give me 'hell' as he calls it. I'm not really sure why, but he's being doing it for years on end, and it's killing me." I sighed, and walked over to him and gave him a hug.

"Thanks," he said quietly and rubbed his temples. I shrugged.

"No worries. We'll get through this; you, me and Abigail." Yale nodded, and smiled. I was about to sit down, when I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Yale heard them as well, and froze.

"Who do you think that is?" I whispered, my hands slowly starting to warm up. Yale shrugged.

"Keep very quiet and follow me," he whispered, leading me to the end of his bedroom, and into the walk-in closet. We didn't even get the chance to unlock the door, when Yale's bedroom door opened.

Abigail's POV

I turned the handle of what seemed like Yale's bedroom door. I couldn't believe the fact that I'd just walked into my boyfriend's how without any permission. I soon shrugged the guilt off my shoulders, once I realized what I was doing it for. I pushed the door open and stepped inside, looking both left and right. I jumped when I spotted two people in the corner of the room.

"Jenna? Yale?" They looked at one another before rushing over to me. I ran into Yale's arms, hugging him tightly. Yale smiled, and kissed me of the forehead.

"You okay?" he asked, brushing strands of hair out of my face. I nodded, and stepped back, looking over at Jenna. She had a blank expression on her face, but I could still notice that she looked scared.

"Is everything alright?" I asked, as we sat down on Yale's bed. Jenna shook her head, and explained everything that had happened. My eyes widened in shock and I looked over at Yale who nodded and shrugged.

"This is getting ridiculous," I said, biting my lip. It was obvious that Max wanted me to be his, but what annoyed me the most was that he was getting everyone involved in it, making it such a huge issue. Jenna nodded, and put her hands into her jacket pockets. I stood up, and stretched, my body still aching from Mr. F's abusive manner. Yale poked me in the stomach, causing me to stumble and fall to the floor. I started laughing, and soon enough Yale and Jenna did. Though we didn't get to laugh long because we heard footsteps coming up the stairs.

I froze and so did Jenna and Yale. We turned to look at each other, trying to think of some sort of way to get out. I then sighed once I remembered what I'd done before I came into the house. The sound of footsteps soon vanished, and silence once again filled the room. Jenna sighed in relief, and checked the time on her phone.

"It's getting late, we've gotta get out of here before Max does anything else," she said. I nodded and walked over to the door, and opened it only to find myself stumble backwards in shock.

"Well if it isn't Jenna trying to escape, it's Abigail coming to the rescue," Max snickered, taking a step forward. I scooted back on the floor, trying to keep a large distance between me and him. He looked up from me, and now focused on Jenna and Yale.

"Have you done what I asked you?" Max asked, he said, glaring at her. Jenna looked down, her hands shaking. Max raised his eyebrows. "I thought so." He walked over to her and grabbed her wrist hard. I swore I heard a cracking noise.

"Let me go!" she cried, trying her best to get out of his tight grip. Yale stood up, his hand on his forehead, trying to get Max away from Jenna.

"Yale, Abigail! You've got to get out of here!" Jenna yelled, tears falling from her eyes. I shook my head, not wanted to leave my friend in the hands of some asshole. She nodded, and yelled out in pain as Max began to twist her wrist. Yale and I couldn't do anything, so we ran to the door, and bolted out of the house. I stood at the front door, wincing every time I heard Jenna's screaming.

I wish I hadn't left her there.
