Chapter 31
Abigail's POV
"Can I have three volunteers to go and pick up the students from the secretary's office?" our mentor asked, standing up and coming to stand in front of his desk. Jenna and I exchanged glances before raising our hands.
"Jenna and Abigail? Would you two be kind enough to show them around this week so they get a feel of the school atmosphere?" We both nodded and stood up and picked up our bags.
"Yeah, we will," I replied, putting my pencil back into my pencil case. Mr. Hills smiled, and opened the door for us.
"I need one more volunteer?" He looked around at the class, and sighed when no-one raised their hands. "Alright, Marcia. I'd like you to be the third volunteer," Mr. Hills finally said. Marcia, who happens to be the school bitch and a pain in the butt, looked up at him with a disgusted look.
"Are you serious?" She whined, flicking her hair back. "You know perfectly well that I do not hang around with new kids." Mr. Hills gave her one hard glare and that made her shut up. I looked over at Jenna, who rolled her eyes and laughed.
"Typical," she replied. I nodded in agreement, and walked out the class.
"Don't worry Marcia," Mr. Hills said. "You'll like one of them; apparently she was really popular in her previous school." Marcia looked up at him and smiled.
"If you're serious, then I'll go." She stood up from her seat and grabbed her handbag before rushing out the door, and down the hall to the office.
"Someone seems eager," I laughed, nudging Jenna. She chuckled and nodded.
"That chick would do anything to boost her reputation." As we continued our way to the office, I looked behind me to see someone rushing through the parking lot and out of the gate. I stopped and peered closer, suddenly realising who it was. I frowned and continued walking. Jenna looked at me with a confused expression, but I shook my head.
"Don't worry, it's nothing," I answered. Jenna didn't seem convinced, but I didn't care. All I cared about was the fact that Yale just walked out the school grounds; and it wasn't even 1O o'clock.

"So you three have come to show these new students around?" The secretary asked, as she filed a couple papers into a binder. We nodded. She smiled and walked over to another door that lead to a waiting room. "Could you three come this way?" She called to us. We quickly made our way through the door, and into the quiet waiting room.
As soon as we laid eyes on the new students our hearts stood still. Well I knew at least mine did. I turned to look at Jenna, who seemed very much like she was about to faint. She turned to look at me, and winked.
"Two hot guys?" she whispered to me. "I think we might be lucky." I stiffled a laugh, and dropped my bag down to the side.
"Alright you three, I'd like you to meet," the secretary pointed to the three people that were looking at us with bored expressions. I curled my lips, and pulled my sleeves over my hands. "This is Leesa Grant. She's just come from a modeling school to finish her senior year of highschool." Leesa looked at the three of us, and only seemed to be smiling at Marcia. Marcia stepped forward and extended her hand for Leesa to shake.
"I'm Marcia, nice to meet you," she said. Leesa smiled broadly and shook her hand.
"Nice to meet you too!" Leesa smiled again and stood up. "Mind showing me around? You seem pretty experienced.." She turned to look at me and Jenna. "Unlike some people." She flicked her hair and walked off with Marcia, both their heels clicking on the wooden floorboards.
"They seem to get along well," the secretary muttered, and sat down next to the two other guys. "Would you two care to introduce yourselves to these girls?" She asked, facing them both. They shrugged and stood up. The guy with the really dark hair glanced at me and I could have sworn he shot me a smile. I smiled back, and noticed him wink. I quickly looked and Jenna and smiled when she gave me the yeah-I-saw-it look.
"Someone seems to have some interest in you," Jenna remarked in a low voice. I elbowed her in the ribs, making her squirm. I couldn't have anyone having interest in me. Not when I've got Yale constantly on my mind.
