Daniel's pov

"Don't just fucking stand there Daniel, Either come back in and we can fix things or leave all together." She said as I stood in the doorway.

I know I shouldn't leave. I know I should go back in there and sit across from her and tell her how sorry I am for even saying that in the first place but instead I left.

I'm doing what's best for her. She's done so much for me and I'm starting to feel like a burden to her. I should have apologized for being gone all the time, for not being there for her.

I just went straight home and headed up to my room. I rummaged through my closet looking for something, I shoved all her clothes out and grabbed a bottle of liquor we had hidden under all her stuff.

I flicked the top off and took a big drink. I shook my head at the burning in the back of my throat and grabbed one of the Red Bull's she threw in there.

That's how I spent my night, chugging liquor and Red Bull until I couldn't see her face. I just needed her here. I needed her laugh as she saw how I was destroying myself over her.

I needed her to tell me that she wasn't worth all this and I needed to tell her how amazing she is and how I don't deserve her.

I needed her to know that I love her too and that every tear that falls breaks my heart even more.

I watched the sunrise and almost fell asleep but Zach barged into my room.

"What the fuck Daniel!?" He yelled and I rolled my eyes as I took another sip. "How could you do that to Vinnie!" I just sat there silently, he has no idea. "Just ending your friendship like that isn't okay!"

"Relationship" I mumbled and he raised his eyebrows. "What did you just say?" I rolled my eyes at him, "relationship Zach! We were in a relationship! And I was always gone and she was always working!"

"Yea well thanks to you one of my best friends is moving all the way across the country! Just because you couldn't get your shit together and realize how much you meant to her!" I froze.

"What do you mean she's moving across the country?" I yelled as I tried to stand up but failed miserably. "Vinnie is moving to New York!" He repeated slowly and I put my head in my hands.

"No no no no no." I mumbled as my heart broke even more. "Just get the hell out!" I yelled as I tried to reach for something to throw at him but didn't have the energy.

"Sober up man." I heard Jonah say from the doorway and I looked up as tears streamed down my face.

Zach walked out and Jonah closed the door behind them. I just huffed and made my way over to my closet. I grabbed an essentia water and chugged it.

I ran my fingers through my hair as I looked around my room. Her clothes were everywhere from me shoving it out of the closet last night.
I just sank down onto the pile and tried not to cry.

I got up and showered and made my way downstairs. "You okay bro?" Corbyn asked and I rolled my eyes. "Fuck off." I groaned as I grabbed the Advil and swallowed 4.

"You're only supposed to take two." Jack said as he looked up from his phone. "Well too late, hopefully it helps more than just the headache." I sighed and took another sip of water. "Too late for a lot of things." I said as I tried to walk out of the kitchen.

"You're really annoying." Corbyn laughed and I turned around. "You'd be the same way."

They both just stared at me like I was crazy. "Are you at least going to tell us why you're acting like you have a stick up you're ass?" Corbyn said and I rolled my eyes as I walked over to the island and sat on it.

"I broke up with Vinnie because she was giving up too much for me." I sighed and Corbyn pretended to look shocked. "Oh my! You guys were dating?" He said acting fake surprised and Jack looked at him.

"Gabbie called last night, I was going to go over there and spend the night with my girlfriend and you know my child but she called me and told me that its probably not a great idea for Vinnie to see any of us before she left this morning."

"Well at least you didn't have to see them making out." Corbyn said and made a gagging sound. "Can you guys just stop?" I finally said and they both looked at me.

"Don't act like this had to happen Daniel." Corbyn sighed and I looked at him. "But it did. I was holding her back. Don't bother me, I'm going to sleep." I said as I left the kitchen and went up to my room and fell right on my bed.

I fell asleep right away. I used it as an escape. If I'm not awake I don't think about her.
