In which a girl moves to L.A. and becomes unlikely friends with a blue eyed boy.

I woke up late the next morning to a million instagram notifications. Most of my friends had posted cute little goodbyes I guess but I just didn't have the energy to open instagram right now.
I heard what sounded like an alarm coming from something on the wall and I jumped. I started laughing at how much I got scared as I got up and walked over to it. It was a small screen and there was a notification that someone was at the front door, after the notification went away it looked like a basic thermostat again.
I jogged upstairs and to the front door. Before I opened it I started to think. What if it's him? What if he's here to apologize for leaving me like that?
I nervously opened the door and immediately Elsie tackled me into a hug. I didn't really hug back, I was happy to be here but I'd rather be somewhere else, getting a hug from someone else.
When she pulled away I realized there were two guys and Leon behind her. As I looked up I recognized them. One of them, despite being younger he was much taller, it was one of my only childhood friends. His name was Axel, we were best friends up until I signed with Alice, then I started to work a lot and we lost touch.
The older one was Oliver, he owned the club we went to the last time me and Daniel were here.
A single tear fell as I remembered that night, or well as I remembered as much as I could. I remember how Daniel praised me that night, how he thought I was the most beautiful girl in the world.
I saw Leon clench his jaw as the tears started to fall. "Who's ass am I beating?"Leon said as he hit his fist to his other palm and barged into my apartment.
"Daniel seaweeds, that's who!" Elsie yelled as she followed him in. "Where is he anyway?" She laughed, not knowing what's going on.
I saw the smile on her face fall as she looked back at me. "What's wrong?" I just tried to wipe away my tears and not draw anymore attention to myself.
"I'll order a pizza!" Axel yelled from the doorway and they all laughed, "you cant discuss emotional issues on an empty stomach."
They all came in and they were in awe of the size of my place, the decor, and overall how expensive it looked.
"This place is amazing!" Oliver said as he walked over Elsie and held her hand. I rolled my eyes at all the memories of me and Daniel giving subtle hints like that to our friends.
I walked about down the hallway, downstairs, and slumped onto the bean bag the movers delivered today.
I didn't move all my furniture, I left that for the next person that lives at my apartment. Last thing they need is to have to go to target and fall in love just for them to break their heart. How did I let him break my heart?
Eventually everyone was downstairs and laughing at how full the upstairs was compared to this.
"It feels like a totally different place, and not in a good way." Leon said and Oliver nodded his head.
"We should take you furniture shopping." Axel said as he brought the pizza downstairs. "This is definitely not going to work." Elsie said as she looked around at the huge empty room.
"What are you talking about? This is perfect!" Leon yelled as he tried to do a cartwheel. Axel started trying to do one also and fell on his butt.
"You guys are such kids." Elsie laughed and I fake smiled.
"Are we gonna go shopping?" I asked and they all nodded. "Do you even have money?" Leon asked as we were walking back up the stairs.
"Too much." I said with a dry chuckle and grabbed my keys.
We found a lot of good basic pieces that would fit my style and got them delivered. After we were all done moving things around I told them everything that happened with Daniel.
I started at Hawaii and by the time I finished my cheeks were stained from my tears and I was beyond tired.
They all messed around for a while and left around 11. I don't think they even noticed how distant I was, I felt like the shell of a person all night.
I finally decided to turn my phone back on for the first time today and I opened Instagram.

I immediately started crying as I FaceTimed Gabbie. She picked up and she was walking out of a restaurant. "You okay girly?" She asked and I nodded no.
