In which a girl moves to L.A. and becomes unlikely friends with a blue eyed boy.

"Vinnie we've got to go." Daniel said through the bathroom door. "Okay okay." I said as I opened the door. "Wow." He mumbled and I gave him a quick kiss. "I have something for you." I said as I walked back into my closet.
"It's your birthday why do you have something for me?" He asked as he followed me. I grabbed one of the chains from Gucci and handed it to him.
"Vinnie you already got me the jacket." He groaned as he looked at the chain, "you've done more than enough for me."
"We're not leaving until you take it." I shrugged and he laughed as he put it around his neck. "Thank you." I said as he pulled me into a big hug.
I gave him a quick kiss and then we headed to my party. "Vinnie!" "Over here!" "Vinnie is he your boyfriend?!" The paparazzi yelled as soon as I got out of the car. I just laughed at them and headed inside.
"This is insane." Daniel said in awe as we walked in. There were people everywhere and the decorations made it feel like a mix between astroworld and a the kinds of things in movies.
"VINNIE!" The dj yelled and waved me up to where he was. I slowly made my way through the crowd to the front and walked up the stair to the deck he was on. "HAPPY 21ST!!!" I heard a Christina yell and I laughed. He handed me the mic and I thanked him.
"Thank you guys so much for coming!" I yelled and I heard a handful of different replies. "THANK YOU FOR BEING GORGEOUS!" Daniel yelled and I looked over at him and smiled.
Elsie came up next to me and handed me a shot glass. "3...2...1" she started and everyone chanted with her. As they reached one 1 took it.
Everyone cheered and I pretended it burned as I swallowed. I slowly made my way off the deck and Daniel swooped me up right away. "That was adorable." He mumbled and I furrowed my eyebrows.
"What was?" I asked as the DJ turned the music all the way up. "How you acted like me and you don't drink stuff twice as strong as whatever Elsie put in that glass." He said in my ear so I could hear him.
"Don't let me drink too much, I wanna remember tonight." I patted his chest as I walked over to another group of people. "Vinnie! Happy birthdayyy!" Kendall said as she pulled me into a hug. "Thanks babes." I smiled.
They soon left to get drinks and I walked over to the next group. I did this for almost an hour, it was exhausting but it didn't bother me much.
I made my way over to the boys and their girlfriends and I was almost surprised to see Axel standing right next to Daniel. "Happy birthday!" He said enthusiastically as he pulled me into a hug. "I'm really sorry about kissing you, it wasn't my place and you're way better off with Daniel." He said into the hug and I smiled.
"You were drunk and lonely, it happens to the best of us." I said as I pulled away from the hug. I found myself backing up into Daniel's arms and I grabbed his hand and dragged him out into the dance floor.
We started to dance and I saw camera flashed going up everywhere. "This is really annoying." He mumbled as he pulled me closer. "I'm calling security."
I grabbed his phone out of his pocket and texted the number. Less than five minutes later a group of maybe six or seven people were asked to leave.
Everyone started to have fun again and the DJ played an all to familiar song. "There is no better view!" I heard drunk Tate yell from the front of the crowd.
Daniel grabbed me and jokingly spun me in a circle. i heard a chorus of ooooh and whistling come from the crowd. We both laughed as he peeled away from each other and found our friends.
After a few more hours it started to die down and everyone started to go home.

Once everyone else left I started to pick up. "What are you doing?" Oliver asked as him and Daniel walked back down to the main floor from the balcony.
"Cleaning up." I said as I picked up a few empty bottles. "Aren't you drunk?" He asked and I laughed. "I talked a lot and I danced a lot but I definitely did not drink a lot."
"Well too bad, it's already three a.m. Daniel's taking you and your friends home." Elsie said as she walked in and hugged me goodnight.
We made it back to the apartment and we got them all in bed. I dragged Daniel downstairs but he stopped us as soon as we reached the doorway to my bedroom.
"What's wrong?" I asked as I looked up at him, he planted a small kiss on my lips but pulled away, "I never gave you your present." He said.
