Vivian's pov
I woke up at 5:30 a.m. to an alarm to go to the gym this morning, I've been doing my best to look as good as possible for the show tomorrow night. I threw on a sports bra and a pair of leggings and walked out of my room.
Daniel was still asleep on the couch and he looked cold so I brought him a blanket. I didn't tuck him in or anything, just unfolded it and put it over him.
I walked upstairs and out the door. I just did a lot of running and half an hour of ab workouts and went to get a smoothie. It was around 7 when I got back to my apartment and no one was out of the rooms yet.
I slowly walked down the stairs but paused for a second as Daniel looked up at me from the couch. He was just sitting there staring out the window, without a shirt on, and the blanket over his lap.
I just started walking right to my room, "thanks for the blanket." He said and I tried to smile at him, "your welcome." I mumbled as I shut the door to my room.
I walked right into my bathroom and started the shower. I took my time, I had no where to be.
"Hey Vinnie you in there?" Gabbie asked as she knocked on my bedroom door, "yea come on in." I said and she opened the door.
"We were going to head out for lunch, want to come with?" She asked and I nodded yes. We went out for lunch and then just watched movies for the rest of the day.
As it started to get dark I noticed everyone was falling asleep. So I got up and went to my room, as I walked through the living room I noticed Daniel was the only one still awake.
I just closed the door behind me and sat on the edge of my bed looking out at the city.
Fuck it I'm going out there.
I reached for the doorknob and slowly opened it. I must say, I'm surprised he was about to knock but I just gave him a small smile.
I stepped aside and he reluctantly walked in, almost like he's practiced this. He scanned the room and sat down on the edge of my bed and rubbed his face really slowly.
He just sat there with his head in his hands and I stood there watching him. He slowly looked up at me. "Vinnie I- I—" he started but I immediately cut him off.
"Daniel it's okay." I said as I slowly took a step forward. "No it's not," he said as he stood up,"I really hurt you and I'm sorry."
"But I took the time and like you said I worked on myself, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have any of this." I forced a smile.
"You look good Vinnie." He said as he took a step closer to me. "I'm sorry for leaving L.A." I sighed and he frowned at me, "if I would've just stayed we probably could've fixed things." He nodded his head no and as I finished and I took a small step closer to him.
"You couldn't have done anything, Vinnie I really fucked up, and I lost the only thing that actually mattered to me," he said as he grabbed my hand, "I'm really sor-" I pulled my hand out of his and put both my hands on the back of his neck to pull him down to kiss me.
It was like fireworks, like the piece of me that was missing before is finally found, like we weren't the same two broken people we were a few seconds ago.
The kiss didn't end, after almost 30 seconds I ran my fingers through his hair and he smiled into the kiss. He had this smirk on his face as we pulled away and he snaked his arms around my shoulders as mine went around his waist, we swayed back and forth.
After a while I sat on the edge of my bed as he looked at the stack of pictures on my dresser. I had gotten a bunch printed off and I was going to put them in a box. I've made one before each birthday since I was 10 and this years was particularly special.
It was a lot of pictures of me and Daniel, a few pictures with Leon and Axel and a bunch with the girls. Then I had at least one picture from my favorite shoot each week and I even printed out some of the fun news articles about myself.
