You wake up face down on a bed.

You go to turn your head, but as you do a white hot pain flashes through your neck. You wince as you lay your head as it originally was.

Bucky" hey take it easy ok. Your gonna be sore for the next couple of hours."

You squeeze his hand.

You" it hurts."

Bucky" I know hunny, I know. Bruce will be in with some pain meds in a sec."

You look to the side as much as you can and see Bucky laying down next to you.

He gives you a quick smile.

You go to speak, but end up coughing from a really dry throat.

Bucky" here"

He puts a water bottle with a straw up to your lips. You take a few sips and nod, he pulls the bottle away and sets it down on the bedside table.

You" how'd it go?"

Bucky" the chip is out and destroyed. Bruce said you lost a little bit more blood then he would have liked so you may be a bit dizzy but nothing to bad"

You give him a thumbs up and he chuckles. Bruce walks in and looks over at you.

Bruce" welcome back sweetie. How you feeling."

You" my neck hurts like a bitch"

Bucky" yeah your definitely spending to much time with me."

He says with a laugh.

Bruce chuckles and goes over o the IV.

Bruce" alright this is Dilaudid. It's seven times stronger then morphine. So it should definitely help with the pain. I also want you to stay down here overnight so I can make sure everything heals right."

He injects it into your i.v feed. You feel a sort of pressure in your head, then a tingling feeling washes over your entire body.

After a minute or so it fades and the pain in your neck starts to dull. You turn on your side with a wince.

Bucky" hey take it easy, I don't want you ripping your stiches."

He States as he adjust the pillow so it fully supports your neck.

You give his hand a squeeze in thanks and he gives you a quick smile.

Bucky" go back to sleep doll. The more you rest the faster you'll heal."

You" ok"

You close your eyes and slowly slip into unconciousness.

An hour and a half later

You slowly wake to the sound of hushed voices.

You let out a yawn then open your eyes.

You see Steve and Sam sitting in chairs next to your bed, and Bucky still laying beside you.

Steve" hey kiddo how you feeling?"

You give him a small smile.

You" like my neck was dug out by a bowl dozer."

Sam gasps

Sam" was that.. sarcasm I heard. Steve she's learning"

You all chuckle.

They stay for a little bit then go off to do their own thing.

Everyone from the team comes down and visits you for a little bit.
