Peter's POV.

I throw my hand over my face as the sun blinds me as I try to open my eyes.

Peter" Jarvis please close the blinds"

Jarvis" right away Peter"

It's then that I hear a soft snore and feel a weight on me.

Oh.shit.

Shuri.

I look down and see shuri with her arm across my stomach, her head on my chest, and legs tangled with mine.

Her head turns so I put my head down and pretend I'm sleeping.

Her head lifts before going back down.

Shuri" Pete... Wake up."

I slowly pretend to wake up as she shakes me.

Peter" hey"

I look down and give her a little smile.

Shuri" it's almost noon. I say we order some food."

Peter" do you have a taste for anything?"

She hums as she thinks for a second.

Shuri" oo! Remember that sandwich shop you took me to last time I was here in New York?I forgot the name of it."

I smile

Peter" Delmar's?"

Shuri" yes!"

Jarvis" I have your regular order from Delmar's being delivered. Would you like it to be sent to your floor?"

Peter" yes please. And add a number 15 extra mayo, a Chery Coke and an bag of sour gummy octopus."

Shuri" you remembered what I ordered last time?"

I look down at her with a blush.

Peter" ummmmmmmmmmm.... Yes? I hope that's not weird or Anything... If you want I can pull up the menu and get you something else."

She just smiles and lays her head back down.

Shuri" that is probably the sweetest thing anyone has ever done. A lot of the times people just care that I'm alive because of my position in wakanda.they don't bother to learn my likes and dislikes."

Peter"well then their dumb. Your a person.not a political pawn."

She cuddles in closer.

Shuri" Jarvis can you give me an update on y/n."

Jarvis" her vitals are weak but stable, her body is healing at 167% the normal rate, and she is currently eating pancakes with Mr barns in her treatment room."

Shuri" hey. Relax. I can garentee she is anxious to see you."

Peter" but what if sh-"

Shuri" Peter Benjamin parker don't you dare finish that sentence. She isn't mad at you. But she will be if you blame yourself."

I sigh.

Peter" I hope your right."

I tighten my arm around shuri, and she sighs.

Shuri" your a really comfortable pillow."

It's silent for a minute until we both start laughing.

Shuri gently untangles her limbs from mine before she sits up and stretches.

Shuri" do you mind if I take a shower?"
