Imagine...
Your father waiting impatiently at the car for Morse so they can leave for the station. However, Morse is a tiny bit distracted with Fred's eldest daughter (You). After the first few mornings of Morse awkwardly standing by the door in the morning when he comes to pick up your father, You decide to start greeting him with a cup of tea which leads to some not so subtle flirting. Now more often then not Fred has to wait at the car for Morse.
