" Are you stalking me?" Peter said flatly, he had just rushed from Avengers tower. A pant still apparent in his gentle voice.

He never did well around loud noises, especially yelling. Apparently, Dad 1 was angry at Dad 2 because he never appreciated the work Dad 1 did around the tower, and Dad 2 was so tired his eyes were drooping at every word. Pete didn't know what to do, so he escaped.

The Arachnid was very jittery ever since, and he couldn't believe he didn't listen to his spider-sense when he bumped into Deadpool. Peter pushed up his glasses slowly looking up at the mercenary.

" What? No- well, of course not!" Wade shook his head quickly, his eyes wide. The expressive lenses on his suit widened, as he stared down at Peter.

" I apologise for being so blunt.."
His voice softened, and his thick lashes fluttered softly as he looked at his feet.
" I guess I'm just a bit paranoid."

[ he thinks we're stalking him. I told you so.]

[ no. you heard him, he's just paranoid..]

[ Have you ever thought about why he's being nice to us? Our balls look like mushy avocados.]

[ He doesn't know that.]

[ All I'm saying is he doesn't need a mercenary that looks like a god d@mn burn victim looking after him. He's Spider-Man.]

" Even Spider-Man needs a guardian angel.." Wade pointed out gently, swallowing the hurt White's words had clogged in his throat. He felt the pain jab into his stomach like a knife, and all the sudden, the subway was droning into his ear, and a large pound was slamming against his temple.

" What did you say?" Peter quickly grabbed Wade, shoving him to the side of all the foot traffic, eyes widened. Did Wade know he was Spider-Man? His features softened when he heard the frantic mumbles slipping from Deapool's lips, his grip loosening against the mercenary's wrist. " are you okay, DP?"

Wade quickly snapped out of it, his white lenses meeting the Freshman's big brown eyes. He couldn't help but nod to the smaller boys angelic voice, the pounding slowing to a drastic halt.

" Why don't we get you somewhere quiet? Huh?" The Arachnid shoved his backpack farther on his shoulder, gently sliding his hand in Wades much larger ones. " Would you like that?"

Deadpool slowly nodded, his hand grasping around the boys. As soon as they made contact, he could feel his heart skip happily against the rapid beat that had droned on for so long.

Vanessa clouded his vision, and he fell unusually quiet as the guilt ate away slowly at him. The guilt was like a bug, eating very slowly at a rotting corpse, taking its time to consume the flesh but over time withering large holes into the body.

Peter could tell he wasn't well, and he gently led the large man out of the subway.

The streets of New York weren't much better from the subway, but they were slightly quieter. Peter listened to some of Deapool's banter, the mercenary babbling happily about anything that popped into his head. He wanted to go to every single food truck on the road, and offer to buy whatever Pete wanted, but the small boy wanted to take him home. Every time he gave Wade a soft blush, and quickly shook his head, a shaky ' no thank you ' escaping his soft lips.

Occasionally they would start talking, and Peter would chime in happily. He didn't talk much, unless he was with Dad 1 ( Tony), Ned, May, Dad 2 ( Steve), and now he guessed Wade. Sometimes he went on a rant about their conversation, and DP would speak softly under his breathe. Deadpool explained that it wasn't because he wasn't listening, that he just had a lot of things going on in his head. Pete understood, Tony spoke to himself in the middle of conversations. It was normal for him.

It took hours to finally find Wade's apartment building, because the mercenary was no help. Deadpool wanted to hang out with Peter more, but Pete thought it was best for him to get some rest.

" Really, I'm okay! This is just how I act-" Deadpool argued to Pete, as they turned into the lobby of the tall apartment building. The Freshman let out a soft gasp, even the inside of it was pretty, it was at least better then his own building.

" Something was wrong on the subway. I could tell. " Peter chimed in, his eyebrow cocked as he looked up at the much larger man. " You need rest."

" I'm not going to sleep, I'm just going to stair at the wall until I want to shoot my brains out." He argued back as Peter pulled him to the elevator: he didn't understand why such a small person could have so much strength. Wade had definitely forgotten he was Spider-Man.

" I don't care. your body needs rest, DP!" The small boy pointed to the floor number, and Wade smirked, smashing all the buttons like a small child.

" Please, call me Wade." He winked, as he stepped back, arms crossed. He thought he had won.

"..Im Peter. Peter Parker."

" I know."
